No the snail mail was a CD of some of the WL lobby music, which by the way Betsy, showed up yesterday. Thanks, last night my living room sounded like the WL Lobby.

The game helmet came from somone else. It has 13 tomahawks on it.

Okay, so here's my confusion. We booked a woods view, non-smoking, king bed. What are the possibilities? Naturally, we'd love one of those 503something rooms that have a view of MK and otter pond, but those probably aren't king rooms. As the time happily ticks down, I am getting anxious to figure out the room situation! Thanks in advance!

Someone asked about the valet parking.

I used it 2 times while I was there. The first day of checking in I used it.. That was good for me, cause my bags are heavy and its me schlepping them from the car to the room, my DS has his own stuff and the carry on. Second time, I went to GF for dinner, and didnt want to park all the way over on the other side. Once you pay for valet, its good for any resort valet within the 24 hours. So when I got back to WL, I didnt have to pay and they just took my car..Of course you give the person a tip.

Other times, I parked myself.. For me, walking is never an issue. I hike as a hobby, LOL.

HINT: If you use valet, they will charge your room...DONT PAY UPFRONT or you will be charged twice. It happened to me. First time I paid cash at the desk, then found the charge on my checkout bill. They removed it without a problem.

I do have a question for anyone who knows we will be driving in from Tampa, I know they changed exit numbers, which I never remember at exit time, because I,m so excited, anyway what exit for WL?
Here is Pixie Dust for those that are at WDW now, and those going in the next few days!

The exit is 64B and follow the MK signs. Be alert as it is easy to get into the MGM lane, stay in the far left lane. When you get to the MK gate, go though the third from the right. Far right is buses, the next CM's.The CM at the gate will tell you to follow the green line on the road, stay to the right of it. You are now five minutes from the Lodge.

Watch for WL & FW signs and follow to the security shack. They will give you your parking pass. When the road widens stay in the left lane and drive up to the Lodge, a "Ranger" will come out to greet you.

Bring me a bucket of snow from home. LOL

Now there is a name that fits in with Kimmars Merry Band of WL VETS. LOL
I can not find in any of our information that there is a King bed on the 5th floor woodsview. That does not mean there is not.
Go to page 2, Wilderness Layout and there is a link on faxing room requests. Follow the instructions stating you would like a view of the Otter Pond, with a long bed.
If you do not get a room where you can see the FW, go to the large hall window on the 5th floor near 5034, and you can watch them there.

Does anyone know if any of the rooms that over look the otter pond and have a MK view (503?"s) have bunkbeds? Thanks! I love reading this thread! Also does anyone know when the Christmas decorations go up at WL? I'm hoping to get DH and 2DD's there next November right before Thanksgiving.

Sadly to say, Im back now 5 days, ewww..I wanna go back to the WL.

I wish my counter was on again.. At least I have the cruise to look forward to. If Disney puts out another deal...Im gonna try to book another trip.

Am I a WL vet???? Do I meet the criteria?

Room 5012 has bunk beds and past guests have reported they could view the FW from there the Decorations should be up by then.

If you can not view FW from the room you are assigned, you can watch them from the hall window by 5034
