some of your lows are going to be our highs this week and we are getting the rain, better than the snow we had last week!! Usually, it's a LOT colder up here by now, but you must have sent some of your warm air up here~thank you!! We're actually going to have temps in the 60's on Halloween, which is SO nice not to have to wear the longjohns!!
How I wish I could be at the Lodge NOW!!!

Good morning everyone.

I am going to fax my room request letter tomorror afternoon. I may as well go for it all.......a room with a view of MK and bunk beds.

I've been reading all the different threads regarding room numbers. From what I've read rooms 5012 & 5016 have views of MK and bunk beds. Do the rooms on the sixth floor mirrow those on the 5th. So would rooms 6012 & 6016 have the same view and bunk beds?

My countdown timer looks real good. So much to do still though..........

AspiringCindy will answer your room question, but be aware the balcony's on the 6th floor are enclosed, you have to stand to see the view. If you look at a pic of the wings roof, the "cut outs" are the bacony's.

Where is Corky, Majestic and all the "VETS"?

Jeanny, I understand, wish our low'swere our high's. It has been a long hot summer this year. Started a month early in May and now it just will not go away.

We're gonna be leaving soon too, but we're not stay at the lodge. I know! I know! It's like sacrilege! Be we're going without the kids, we're paying cash and we've NEVER stayed at CBR. So, I buckled under the pressure. We're defintely going to visit the lodge and look for the 'hidden treasure'

Since I now have a job, we decided to buy AP's. We also moved from AKL this Christmas to the Poly (WL still not available, even for AP's). I have to say I am a little excited to stay in a monorail resort. I may just ride it around and around.

We are driving down. Had trouble getting a direct flight and figured we would say some money and just drive. I think the North Wing is going to be very popular. Are you going to try and get bunk beds? I think I would rather have the view of MK if I had to choose.

Tardin, I too am jealous about that clock...I don't think that the assumption should be made that 6012 and 6016 would have bunks....same view though for the most part I would think.

I have recommended WL to so many people and we convinced two sets of friends to check it out on their trips they are planning....don't you think I should be up for some kind of discount or kickback?? Just kidding of course! I would pay full price at this point I love the lodge so much!

My friend and fellow “VET” Corky brings up something that has been running in my mind. WL VETS, you should stand tall and be proud. When you go through pages of the last WL FAQ , of all the folks that took our advice to stay at WL. Reading the trip reports expressing their gratitude of the information and advice they were given.

If you work the boards as I do, you “see” them now out there on the boards beating the WL drum. A good example is Kimberle, , KCDISDAD, Jeanny, tardin1964, MAGICinMYHEART, DisneyDmbNut, HarborWhaler, to name a few. Some have their WL Vet status and some are still working for it, regardless they have come from asking to helping.

When you read how Kimmmar struggled through the first pages of the original WL FAQ, it was a case of the blind leading the blind, but she persevered and the growth of the expertise and information on this thread has to be the envy of all other resort threads and the standard by which they will be judged. I would be hard pressed to come up with a question that could not be answered by at least one of you.

And to think it is because of a single love for a building, awesome.
