Like a Bad Meal (V Keeps Coming Back) - THE END! 1/12/09

OMG!!! You ladies emptied the pineapple supply AGAIN!!! :lmao: :lmao: How funny is that! Perhaps next time, someone should warn the Poly that this group is coming!!! :rotfl: Poor V, maybe you should've stuck with the Lapu Lapu! Oh wait, you couldn't.....no more pineapples! :rotfl:

Hey V, I know its easy to get burned out. Take care of yourself and that darling boy of yours and update when you can! I love the way you write! It takes me back "home" when I can't be there! :thumbsup2

I'm glad you're going to try and finish this TR. I hear you on how hard it is... writing a TR is a love/hate thing, isn't it? Thanks again for carting around my Flat Michelle. Although, I would have rather been there in person, sucking down nasty mojitos & tasty pineapples with you guys :sad2:

See you on Friday!!! :yay:

First of all, THANK you all so much for all your nice words - I was worried maybe I'd have lost my readership! :grouphug:

DUDE - I stick to my original statement: Mojito's are the devil's juice!
Agreed!

Only...

I think I HAVE to try the frozen version at F&W Fest this weekend... :scared:

Nice pic of me, though. :headache:
I love that pic!

Don't we all wish we could make this statement
No way. 22? Yes. 12? Ick!
I bet the Poly staff were :scared:
I totally forgot - we had the same server that I've had in MY PAST 3-4 VISITS! :rotfl: Poor lady. But I tip her well.

Looking at all of those carved out pineapples makes me homesick.
:rotfl: It's strange, but me too! I don't even particularly like Lapu Lapus, but they're emblematic of Home, aren't they? :cloud9:

Sheesh, did they learn NOTHING?
Or, are they trying to steer us elsewhere for future trips? NOT GONNA WORK, HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! pirate:
I'm still sorry that I missed Tambu night.
Me too! Se,, we HAVE to keep going back!

Sounds like a great dinner, V. Makes me want to plan another adults only trip so that we can eat at all these fine restaurants! Either that or I have to do the dining plan again!
That's one thing I've missed these past few years; my ex and I went to WDW often just for dinner (okay, we usually spent a few hours in a park, too, but mostly for dinner.) I'm so glad Leo is old enough now to do some more of that!

Who would have thought of mint leaves?????
I know, right?! It's been suggested that WDW uses a mix for their Mojitos, though, so it could be that, too. :scared:

Have you seen the Sex & the City movie? Charlotte "pooghkeepsied" in her pants while in Mexico!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Yes!

Thanks for coming back, and I really hope you find time to tell us about your other trips too. I really enjoy reading your TRs, you have a fabulous sense of timing allowing the reader to truly experience the emotion of the experience.
Thank you so much! Honestly, I mostly just write how I talk - and I looooove telling stories!

It so nice to hear that someone is visiting frequently.
It's so nice to be visiting frequently! Honest, it's such a cheap vacation for us living so close. I really couldn't go anywhere else for the same cost.

I'm saving my spot for a witty reply later, but also to inquire...did you absolutely have to use that drunken-glistening-nasty-bad-hair-day-havin'-the-camera-adds-15-pounds picture of me that looks suspiciously like my buddy Leo took??:confused3

:scared: It's skeeery...
Sorry LL! :flower3: Darned kids. ;)

But, for the record, I LOVED your hair! Wish mine would curl up that nicely.

You put on a good show, V. I had no idea you weren't feeling well that night
Thanks, I tried hard to overcome!

I love love love reading everyone's versions of the meets- so much fun!
It is, isn't it?! :goodvibes

Hopefully the busy-ness you are encountering is of a fun and positive variety. And maybe even a Disney variety?
A little of everything I'm afraid - school, Leo school, work, house stuff, car stuff, and yeah, some Disney stuff, too. ;)

(just please don't tell me there's something wrong with the coconut in the pina colada...;))
No word yet, but I'll keep you posted! :rotfl:

Perhaps next time, someone should warn the Poly that this group is coming!!!
No way - they'd lock the doors! :rotfl2:

It takes me back "home" when I can't be there!
I'm so glad - that's exactly what I try to! :goodvibes

writing a TR is a love/hate thing, isn't it?
YES! ::yes::
See you on Friday!!!
You know it - I can't wait!

I'm glad to see a new update from you! Although not so glad to hear about the terrors of the ill-fated mojito...I think I'll stay away from those :scared: I'm more of a Lapu Lapu girl anyway, methinks!
Narcossee's sounds divine...I have to make it there someday. If only for the mac n cheese! I found on our trip that most of the mac n' cheese on property has changed to a overly buttery, blah recipie...I could go for some good mac n' cheese in WDW.

OMG, seriously, that was the richest, cheesiest mac & cheese I've ever seen! And yet, not so overly-rich as to turn off a 6 year-old. It was cheesy perfection! :lovestruc

Hey V, so glad you decided not to abandon us here. I truly love your writing and I will be here waiting for you whenever you get the chance to update.

I too have found that the boys need down time while in WDW. THe last few trips they LOVED to lounge at the pool. I bring a few books and get some drinks(kiddie and ADULT;)) then we just lounge out on the chairs an relax. FOR A WHILE. THis seems to do the trick for them and I dont feel cooped up inside..

MENTAL NOTE MADE:NO MOJITOS IN WDW---EVER!!!!
although the frozen one at the puerto rico stand in EP are DELISH(no mint there)

:thumbsup2 I really need to make a reminder slip for me or something, because we all have so much more fun with plenty of downtime.

Hi Rosie!
Hi....were back from DisneyLand
Welcome back!
:I'm just hanging around...:upsidedow waiting for a new installment...
Don't you have some writing and/or planning to do?! ;)

popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

You can't leave a girl hanging after a text like that.
Oh shoot, I did text, didn't I?! :rotfl: JK - I remember. ish.

Well, I was all set to post a quick review of this past weekend and then realized I left the camera home. No pics = no story. But I AM working on a new installment for the trip already in progress, so there's that.

First of all, THANK you all so much for all your nice words - I was worried maybe I'd have lost my readership! :grouphug:

I'm still here too reading along, just not feeling witty enough for responses. I am so glad you didn't abandon us. I just LOVE your TR's. I think your updates would be great even if there weren't any pics because you have such a way with your writing, that I feel as if I am there with you. Don't get me wrong your photos are AMAZING, but I'm just sayin' that I would still read even if there were no photos. ::yes::

I'd be happy to read a text-only report.
