Jordan I hope you don't mind but I'm going to do a little pimping.

As some of you know I'm also doing a trip report from our trip in Feb. Jordan will make an appearance since our dates overlapped, sadly I didn't get there in time to meet Blue, Winkers or Rosie. If you're interested the link is in my signature.

What I really want to pimp is my daughter's pre trip report. Her name is Michelle and she turned 20 today! She is planning a trip for Dec 2011 for her and 3 friends. They will all be 21 by then and this will be their first adult trip. I know she can use all the help she can get especially on drink suggestions.

Jordan - I loved the video! It's great to have a voice with the face now!

Ah. Nevermind my question about the bed. I have gotten to that part of the report. lol Kinda dumb decor for BLT, that headboard should be at ASMu. It's a stinking piano for crying out loud. ;o)

Thanks Tammie. Not sure why the links to the video on Facebook didn't work. Last I checked it was still there under my videos on Facebook (actually there are two since I wasn't sure it uploaded the first time and tried again and now that I have comments on each, I didn't want to delete it). I'll try to upload the video directly to the website host (Webs.com) although this uses us some of my limited video storage quota.

The video should still be accessible from the website I created at http://davidshigekawa.webs.com/apps/videos/. For some reason, the pictures I embedded on the "About Rev. David" page don't load so I'll have to fix this when I have time. Thanks for commenting about the video....I'm trying to find a way to post the full 30 minute video which has several more vignettes about his life. Chapter 34. Guess what and other haps in my life

So this last weekend or extended weekend was quite eventful.

On Friday I babysat for the kids. Kim and Allen were in town for a wedding and Wendy, Derek and K and A went out for an adult dinner (no...not a dinner at a strip club, a dinner without kids...). Wendy and Derek treated because...............

Kim and Allen are now engaged.

Here are some pix of the kids with Kim and Allen:

Saturday my roomies and I went to see Toy Story 3. Um....guess if I cried or not.

Sunday-Wednesday. I drove Wendy's mom (my aunt), my parents and my cousin Jill to Palm Desert to hangout at the Westin-Desert Willow. My other aunt and uncle joined us. It was a great time to relax and reflect.

My cousin and I spent Monday and Tuesday by the pool:

Okay...you know me and restrooms.....the pool restrooms were AWESOME. they were partially outdoors or at least the sink area and shower were outdoors...it was sooooo coool. I had to get a few pix:

Okay so I did use the shower. It was REALLY windy and the curtain kept blowing out. Luckily, no one came in the restroom or they would seen my flat behind and my lucky charms...

Chapter 35. More sitting around the World

So when we last left you, we were finishing up our assault on Norway....off to China.......So because of some private party the normal entrance to Reflections of China or whatever it's called was closed so we had to go in through the out door

Before we headed back to see the show I took a few pix in front of the pavilion:

Temple of Heaven:

I always like to show the real Temple of Heaven in Beijing. These were taken in Feb 2009 when I was visiting friends in Beijing.

After the show, Erin and Dylan were doing the Kidcot so guess what? we all sat down on these stairs. What do people say? The longer you've been married, the more you start looking alike.......Uncanny.

After China we walked over to Germany and guess what? we sat while people used the restrooms.

Erin was showing Ashlyn the miniature land. What a good big sister....for that moment at least.

Off to Italy. I really don't why we stopped here, but someone needed to do something. So we all just kind of hung out and took pictures of each other. I don't believe there was much sitting going on in Italy.

Oh wait someone WAS sitting and sleeping:

With our impromptu photo shoot over, we were off to see the American Adventure.

CONGRATULATIONS TO KIM AND ALLEN!!!!! How exciting!!!!

Love the pics in China! I love that I see Allen in the background and it appears that he is now immune to your crazy antics. Too funny.

The comparison between Epcot China and real China are great!! I always like to see just how much they get the theming right on.

Looks like you guys had a fun time in Italy. Wish we would have been there too. Not sure what we were doing that day but didn't want to impose. We should have just gone and crashed the party!
