OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! This trip report is better than any soap opera, first run movie, or reality TV show that's out there now (even my fav - American Idol LOL)! I am glad I didn't read last night. I wouldn't have been able to go to sleep until I knew what happened.

I love the way it all worked out for you. It made me lose any animosity I was feeling over K's overbearing and highly unrealistic mother. I swear - sometimes I just want to reach through the computer and shake her. I will admit, having K take the red eye may be a little passive aggressive , but really only a little. You gotta do what you gotta do. I think the only other option would be to have K's mom pay for the flight!!!!!

So 2 extra days - can't wait to hear how this is all going to figure into the plans. You seriously make me want to take an extra trip down there just to observe a little slice of this mega vacation. what are those dates again?????

Thanks Mary Ellen! I know you get it with the sports stuff and that means the world. Jeff and I both have that feeling very frequently when she goes on and on and on and on about the sports stuff. Sadly, she has become known to us as...

Which, while rather mean, cracks us up and lightens things and puts it back into the context that it should be in. We just can't take it too seriously, it's not worth it.

LOL! I have HORRIBLE luck at the slot machines. Well except for once. I don't play them at all for that reason. I actually do kind of like roulette. Go figure.

I am thrilled I have to say! Now I just hope it doesn't eat up all the vacation that's offered.

Really hoping the offer comes today but I know in my gut it won't be until Monday. I would love to be wrong!

I really try to tell myself she wants the best for K&T but at times...like with the ankle...it is so obvious it isn't about Kendall at all. It makes me more sad than mad.

That's the part that I can't stand when I read your updates. It's all about her self-esteem and not about Kendall's. I had such a hard time telling Brian he couldn't play last year in that ODP tournament, when he had his stress fracture, but I knew in the long run it would be better. And it turned out that he was well all soccer season and no injuries this spring (so far).

Oh...I wish I could take a quick trip down there, but I just made plans to go back in September for 4 nights. My coworker is starting PA school in late Septembe,r so we decided she needed a quick Disney trip before she is saddled with school work for the next two years. We are using her points to stay at BLT. When she told me about the reservation I was so excited..........since I was planning to go by myself sometime in the fall. Our 180 ADR date is already Tuesday.

No, of course not. No one wants to keep their child from playing but sometimes you have to be the parent! I remember that with Brian's stress fracture but clearly that was the right call and has paid off!

How exciting that you are going in Sept and BLT! I really want to stay there on of these days. Your WL trip is right around the corner too

Okay, I am a bottom line kinda person, and all those details were making my head swim! But I think I got POP for a night and one more night at Universal sounds FABULOUS in my book! SO true that time zone thing... it does sock it to you. Whenever we go back west we have the same issue, so the time to really wake up is great!!

They make my head swim. I do tend to obsess in the minutia. Both a good...and a bad thing.

But yes....long story short...2 extra nights. One at POP and on at HRH.

Ride RRC every day.

Eric's was a little more modest

Ride TOT at least 3 times during the trip.

We're arriving on 8/21 and leaving on 8/30. We added a day to the beginning and end of the trip because the airfare was so cheap. We booked 5 seats on Airtran for $847.00. And that includes paying for seat selection in the priority boarding section.

We changed our resort plans as well. The first 7 nights will be at BLT and the last 2 at BWV. We're just going to buy APs with the DVC discount. Then, we'll have tickets for next August and any trips in between.

Rats, we will overlap now but we will be at US when you are arriving. WOW those are some great prices. I thought I did well but you have me beat by a landslide. I could have gotten $225 tickets on Airtran but it would have taken us 12 hours to get there and back.

Very fun on the dual resorts, I've always loved the look of BWV (except for the creepy clown slide lol) and how nice to do both a monorail and an epcot resort on the same trip!

I think they will like it too. I would have a hard time with double beds for a longer trip but for one night it will be perfect and a lot of fun I think!

Now to just figure out the last "extra" night.

Direct makes SUCH a difference, and a happy DH makes for a happy vacation!

Acck. Not yet. He said Friday, or Monday at the latest as he was pretty slammed and would have to run it by both owners of course (and didn't know their schedules). He did say not to worry if I hadn't seen it on Friday but ugh I hate waiting! Honestly I won't be surprised if it doesn't show up tomorrow either but I really hope it will, it's making me crazy!
