We just got back from The World yesterday. I thought of you when we drove past the old Doubletree hotel with the Pineapple on top, only there is no longer a pineapple up there. In fact the whole place is under a massive renovation and is all fenced off. Just thought you might be interested to know!

Hi everyone! Well, I just thought I should post something to prove I am still alive and that I do plan to finish this report and write another one. I still don't have my computer back up in tip top trip reporting shape... sadly. Hopefully sooner rather than later that will be fixed because the thing I miss most about not having it is writing!! Plus I REALLY want to share these stories and pictures because everything on these trips was such a blast and everyone needs to hear about it!

In other news, I am about 90% sure that I will be on Disney property again NEXT MONTH! There are a few factors that I need to go my way, and it won't be a full on trip, just a short visit... But IT IS VERYVERYVERYVVVEERYYY EXCITING!!!! I haven't even seen Maleficent yet cause I'm waiting for Half price movie Tuesdays LOL! Every dollar helps, you know? So keep your fingers crossed and send giant doses of pixie dust my way because when you guys do that, things magically work out. I never thought I was gonna get to go for my birthday and LOOK WHAT HAPPENED, I went on a CRUISE!

In other other news, Gina and I already have MNSSHP costumes planned out so there's that. And Hanson will yet again be performing at Epcot during food and wine so I think a lot of Disney is coming up in my life and you are all welcome for the ride!!

OMG that's exciting about next month. I hope it all works out. And if it's any consolation, I too tend to stray towards cheap Tuesday.

That sounds like a good sign too if you have costumes already planned. I know Hanson's in October, but how cool (well hot weather wise) would September be... just sayin... Still good news all around!

Our fall dates overlap!!! My dd8 will be so excited if our paths cross at all. She always likes to check Instagram and here for updates! She things you ladies are the coolest big girls in all of disney! She dosent know we're going yet, we're not going to tell her until we pick her up from musical theater school and drive straight to the air port on the 27th of September!

LIA!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you ever heard the saying "better late than never"? That should be written on my tombstone because it took me until today to find this trip report to find out all the exciting things going on with you! I am so pumped to hear the rest of your MNSSHP report with Jess and the birthday cruise report with Gina and Jess and a trip in July and what sounds like MNSSHP 2014!!!!

Freaking awesomely frumpingly hot and fancy scrumdibilyumptious supercalifragilisticexpialidocious news!

It's been a trying last couple of months for me but we just decided a couple of days ago that a trip to Disney for the Food and Wine festival and MNSSHP would be exactly what we need to boost our spirits and I'm jumping out of my skin already!!! I saw the dates for Hanson's shows even before I found your trip report here and I told my DH that I'd bet Lia will be there . We will be there too so maybe a quick hello can be arranged as I'd love to see one of your costume creations (which are terrific by the way) up close!

I hope your computer issues are fixed soon so you can post more updates! I think you and Jess need to petition Disney to give you guys your own show like Stacy or better yet - all three of you guys do the show from different vantage points from the parks! OMG that would be such a great way to begin and end every magical day: with the Stacy, Lia & Jess show

Haha, in all seriousness though, it was such a magical moment for me and I'm sure it was for you too. I loved reading about how your meet and greet compared to mine. I wonder if we both met the same friend of Dale's?

Also, DAMN GIRL, YOUR COSTUME WAS FANTASTIC. Seriously, those pictures in front of the Mansion are amazing!

And I'm so glad you got to try DCL! I've been lucky enough to go a lot with my family over the years. It's incredible, they really feel like home to me just as much as the parks.

Day 2, Part 15 In Which Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun​

When I last left you... I was dead.

I am still the 1000th Happy Haunt, frolicking about among the living. The laptop formerly known as Prince is not. It can't even move. Its hard drive couldn't deal and basically was like gurl bye.

I lost photos and basically the entire rest of this trip report that I had pre-written.

But let's not dwell on the past, shall we?! The good news is, I get to re-live this incredible trip yet AGAIN by re-writing it. Don't mind if I do. I'm kinda bummed about the photos, but I backed up the best ones, plus a lot were taken on Jess's camera so she has them.

So we are clear for takeoff!

Oh and guess what else?! After this we've got the birthday and the cruise report. You are not gonna wanna miss THAT. Good lord did we have a ridiculously magical time on both of these trips. I am ITCHING to continue to share them with you all!

By this time, unfortunately this grand and spooktacular party was coming to an end. Normally I am screaming in refusal to leave MNSSHP, but everything had gone so beyond perfectly that I was one satisfied specter.

That doesn't mean that we didn't take our time wandering over to Main Street, though!

I love that they had a pumpkin projection on the wall in front of Pinocchio's. It's the little things.

Then we took a LOT of pictures because CASTLE!!! One of my favorite things about the party is how it goes from green, purple, and blue to BLOOD RED.

Daddy dear you know you're still number one, but ghouls, we wanna have fun!!!

If I ever lived in a bad neighborhood, I would simply affix the following photo to my front door. No one's gonna mess with me!!!

Once our two-woman Boo To You parade hit Main Street, I was in full frolicking mood. I love this part of the party, I feel like they crank up all the Halloween music even louder and it just becomes a rave. Or maybe that's just me? I really couldn't tell you, but it's a BLAST.

I went across the street to use the restroom & took this picture...

Then met back up with Jess where we - GUESS WHAT - took more photos!!

I wish I had re-applied the make-up to my lips, they look too much like a living person's!

Oh well, you live and learn. Or should I say you die and you learn?

Day 2, Part 16 In Which I Am The Ruler of Halloweentown​

Around this time, we met a PhotoPass Photographer who I think technically was now off-duty because he was just kind of hanging out on the sidewalk. He promptly became obsessed with us and told us to pose back to back.

Uh, okay!

Anywhere else, if a random dude tells you and your friend to get back to back, I recommend running away. In Disney, why not just go for it!

He then told Jess to stand aside. She was simply too alive for what he had in mind.

He wanted me to act like zombie. "I'm a ghost," I said. There is a big difference. I do not have rotting flesh. I have never tried to eat Rick Grimes or Daryl Dixon because I am not hungry. I am a ghost. I am the 1000th Happy Haunt. I have just come from a ghoulish affair, straight out of the ballroom of the Haunted Mansion.

And yet I still did this.

I think you can tell by my face that I was like dude, enough already. I know my costume is both fascinating and inspiring, but can I go now?

I'M A GHOST NOT A ZOMBIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whew.

Isn't Main Street on Halloween just the best? Transformed. I wish I could describe how much I love it, but there simply aren't words for that.

The party had ended, but I just couldn't leave Halloween behind yet. I suggested we go up to the train station and take pictures. The year before, when I was #StuckinDisney, I spent a lot of time up there on Halloween and I really wanted to see that view again!

Then Jess took one of the best photos in the existence of photographic history. I can not even describe how much I LOVE this picture.

I seriously could cry right now... this was one of the best nights of my life! I feel like that picture captures the obvious fact that I am the ruler of Halloweentown.

Jack would be so proud.

Alas... we eventually made our way back down the stairs.

Every time we say goodbye I die... a little.

It wasn't really a sad goodbye, though. As I've said repeatedly, this party couldn't have gone better. Maybe if Eugene proposed BUT LIKE besides that... I really could not have asked for more. It was also very amusing to us that this was only Day TWO of the trip. We had done so much but SO much more was to come!

I strode out of Magic Kingdom belting out THIS IS HALLOWEEN... to the monorail and through the TTA... then we get to Jess's car and the Christmas explosion began.

Jess was so beyond obsessed with Christmas during this trip, I can't even tell you. I am someone who gets really into the holiday, but being that I am crazy for Halloween, I let that linger awhile. You know, at least a couple hours past midnight! But Jess considered Halloween season over right then and so we rang the Christmas season in with gusto by blasting "All I Want For Christmas is You" by Mariah Carey, "My Only Wish This Year" by Britney Spears, and "The Greatest Time of Year" by Aly & AJ. You know, the classics.

When we got back to the room, oh my GOD, I absolutely could not wait to take a shower. You know, my Mansion isn't exactly kept shiny and new, so I was quite dusty!

*Sings "Human Again" from the Beauty & the Beast deleted scenes*

I don't remember if I mentioned how much candy Jess & I scored. We had to have hit all of the trick or treat locations, I think a couple of them more than once. My advice is to go to them toward the end of the night because Cast Members basically hurl giant handfuls of candy at you. It's the best! I had two bags full! Jess mostly likes chocolate candy, so she gave me all her non-chocolate stuff. YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So... did I mention that this night was perfect? I really don't even know how to sum it up. Our costumes just worked out so well which made us feel on top of the world the whole night. I finally got to meet JACK AND SALLY, are you kidding me?! I danced with Prince Phillip. My eternal love Eugene Fitzherbert photobombed Rapunzel and I. I got to flail around in the Haunted Mansion as the 1000th Happy Haunt. There were no long lines for anything and we did far more than we ever expected, even getting to enjoy a Lefou's Brew in Gaston's chair. The entire night should basically be a commercial for MNSSHP because it was as if we had a magical Disney tour guide next to us making sure everything went even better than we expected.

If you haven't experienced Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party yet, do yourself a favor and buy a ticket. NOW. I can't imagine Halloween without it and I am counting down the days until my next one!

Which by the way, is in two and a half months! I wasn't sure if I wanted to be a revamped version of a Haunted Mansion ghost or if I wanted to do an all-new costume. I even contemplated going as Mickey Mouse again, just cause I loved that costume SO much! I probably will re-use that sometime, however, this year I came up with a new AMAZING idea! I have seen other people dress as this character, but never quite like what I have in mind. All I have to say is if you thought I was sparkly in my Mickey outfit... just wait. It's going to be a challenge to make but I can do it! The thing is, I think I can only go to one party again and I REALLY wanted to do another version of the ballroom dancer! So I don't know, should I extend the trip?! Obviously I want to, but you know, money! We'll see what happens. AHHHHHH I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should probably backtrack and tell you that I am not going to Disney this month, as previously reported! I had alllll kinds of plans that totally one hundred percent did not work out! One day I will tell the whole long story... it's a doozy. And I don't say things are a "doozy", ever, so you know I really mean it. I sure wish I was on my way to WDW right now, but it's okay though, it might be for the best.

SO ANYWAY, Gina, Lee-Anne and I are planning to head to Disney at the end of September for another Hanson and Halloween BLOWOUT. You know, all the usual suspects. Excited does not even begin to capture my feelings into words so I will cut it off here!​
