I am missing out on so much. Except smug grandma. I hate how entitled some people get in Disney. Just because you have younger kids with you, doesn't mean you are special. Ugh.

Ok, I've been following along and I have to tell you as Disney obsessed & Halloween obsessed as I have always been (it only gets worse when you have kids) I have never done MNSSHP. Not one time.

My daughter LOVES all things Disney & Halloween is her favorite holiday (because she's my mini me). She's been proclaiming since the age of 3 that she will marry Jack Skellington!

I remember them playing at the local Mayfest here in town....but I know of no one in the Tulsa area who talks about them or listens to their music (Mmmbop days or now). How did you get to know about them living up in NJ? Do a lot of New Jersians have a jonesin' for the Hansons and we Oklahomans are missing out?

This question is so odd to me cause I feel like you're talking about Hanson as if they aren't internationally famous, LOL. When their first studio album came out in 1997, they completely exploded onto the scene, and since then have sold 15 million+ albums, got nominated for 3 Grammys, performed at Carnegie Hall (which I was present for I might add ), started their own record label, released several more successful albums, and have toured the world SEVERAL times over. The list goes on! It's certainly not a New Jersey-only thing - they still tour globally. I can't even tell you how lucky you are that you saw their early grade school performances. That is the coolest thing!

Hello, beautiful people!

I really hope you are ready for a whole lot more hot and fancy gallivanting through various Disney properties because things are about to get wild.

I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IN JUST 11 DAYS I WILL FINALLY BE REUNITED WITH JESS AND MY HAPPY PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GINA WILL BE JOINING US TOO FOR AT LEAST 1 NIGHT!!!!

I have been on a few "birthday" trips, but the only time I've actually been in Disney ON the actual day of my birthday was when I turned 5 and turned 16. I am SO glad that is happening again!

AND THAT'S NOT ALL.

THE FIRST PART OF THE TRIP WILL BE IN WALT DISNEY WORLD AND THE 2ND HALF WILL BE AT SEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BECAUSE JESS AND I ARE GOING ON A DISNEY CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been dying to go on a Disney Cruise for YEARS, but the pull of the parks is always too strong. Finally I am taking the leap and doing it!! I have never been on a cruise of ANY kind so I am just excited for that new experience in general. However, what I have read about the amazing entertainment, characters on board, unlimited food, Castaway Cay and more... OH MY GOD WE ARE GOING TO HAVE THE BEST TIME! I CAN NOT DESCRIBE MY EXCITEMENT RIGHT NOW.

Day 2, Part 13 In Which Jess Goes West and I Go Home​

So after that amazing news, I decided I would post a couple of updates! I am too excited to sleep anyway, so I might as well get something done. I don't know how I am going to sleep at all before this trip, I AM JUST FREAKING OUT!!!

Okay, so when I last left you, we had danced over to the ol' Frontier so Cowgirl Jess could have a rootin' tootin' time!

We noticed the Woody & Jessie dance party going on so I told Jess she should get pictures dancing with them since she was a cowgirl! She was like OMG YES and handed me her camera. I then became a photographer and took a TON of photos!

So then Footloose came on!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS WHEN IT REALLY BECAME A PARTY!

By the way, I just looked up the official definition for a hoe-down and apparently it is "a social gathering at which lively folk dancing takes place." Sounds about right!

I took a picture of Jess kissing Woody and then we headed out but Jess said her hair was messed up so we had to go back LOL

Mission Accomplished!

Next it was time for the one... the only... MY HOME... THE HAUNTED MANSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so excited for this! It was truly going to be one of the best rides in the Mansion ever now that I was dead! WOO!

I'm... going... hoooooome.

In this photo you can see me looking at Madame Carlotta!

Oh my God. I was really excited to see her because at all three of my MNSSHPs the year before, I never did! For those who may not know, Madame Carlotta is one of our Mansion's most fun ghosts. She sits on the lawn during the Halloween parties and just improvs all night with guests! I knew she was absolutely going to LOVE my costume and boy was I right!

I didn't even have to say hi... right away she was like "OH HONEY! YOU SURE LOOK LIKE YOU BELONG HERE! Look at that dress! You're home!!!!!!!" IT WAS SO AWESOME. I was like yeah I'm part of the family

I wish SO BADLY I took notes on what else she said to me cause she went on awhile. DAMN IT, it was so fun too! I remember her going on about how fabulous my dress was and when I twirled she was like "OOooOOooOOH LOOK AT YOU! Look at the back! Turn around! Oh my stars! OOOOOHH!" like she made the biggest deal about it and I really appreciated that. Little things like that make all the hours I spent painstakingly working on this costume SO WORTH IT!

I'm so happy I had my little encounter with her!

I had to recreate my favorite picture from the May trip, this time in full costume!

I plan to take one every trip from now on! So if you're in Disney... look for me chillin' by the busts!

Okay... so what happened next was pretty cool. I sat there and people stopped to look at me and take pictures L.O.L. I think maybe one of them thought I was supposed to be there... WHICH WAS AWESOME AND THE HIGHEST COMPLIMENT.

Some other guy was like "Wait! Please stay there!" while he took a picture and then was like "Please look my way!" and then someone else stopped and was like "OH MY GOD THIS SO GREAT. OH LOOK AT HER" and pulled someone over to look at me.

I was like

hahahahaha

Disney World is my red carpet, folks!! It was great to see guests appreciating my costume. It's so odd to think that those people now have pictures of me forever LOL. Am I in their photo albums? Did they upload me to Facebook? Are they showing their friends that awesome Haunted Mansion ghost they saw? It's just so funny to think about!

Jess decided she needed one too!

Onward we go... we had a whole huge photoshoot so get ready for picspam!

I can't even decide which ones I like best so I am just posting basically all of them, please tolerate my narcissism!

Day 2, Part 14 In Which Mr. Toad Is Hot and Fancy​

So then we went inside and it was so awesome because it was one of those rides where you can tell there are a lot of big Disney fans present. Everyone was screaming a lot and many people knew the words, it was GREAT.

After the stretching room, I looked around for a good place to take a picture and we came out with what is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE PHOTOS EVER.

Just a picture of me at home, no big deal.

AHHH I LOVE IT. This costume was definitely a big success.

It took forever to get that picture because Jess's camera could not really adjust to the darkness very well and I knew if hers wasn't up for it, mine wasn't going to be either! But finally we tried our iPhones and it ended up working a lot better. I am SO happy we didn't give up because HOW CRAZY DO I LOOK. ahhhhhh so good.

It was so awesome because Cast Members kept telling me they liked my costume and I was just like... "I live here!" hahaha.

Us ghosts occasionally let cowgirls into our Mansion! Especially hot and fancy ones. It may be delightfully unlivable, but we try to accommodate as best we can.

At some point I looked at Mr. Toad and realized how hot and fancy he is

HAHAHA HE IS TOTALLY DOING THE HOT AND FANCY POSE OMG CLOSE UP

We find this to be pretty much the most hilarious thing that has ever happened.

Then we went over to the PhotoPass Photographer cause we needed to get pictures with a ghost

I love this one cause Jess looks like “oh gosh” cute scared and I look genuinely horrified and on the verge of collapse

Of course we weren’t actually scared. I know all the ghosts personally so I was just like “Hiya pal!” Mickey Mouse style.

Also it just cracks me up how huge the ghost is....? Is this the spirit of a giant? LOL

After taking about 9829840928 pictures we went to our girl Rapunzel's place and asked her if we could use the bathrooms and she was like YEAH GIRLS GET IN HERE! Then we took some pictures in the area.

When will my life.... begin?
