LET'S PLAY if you were a game designer for VMK What would you like to do?

Ok Ok ..i left so many out...lol...I am not done 10 is actually 20...but I will be adding many many more...

Ohh QueenLiz...you have to have a bad hair day once in awhile...lol

She does, but as Queen, she merely has the person commenting on it thrown in the dungeons. Sorry surferrat, we'll miss you.

Ohh Crap Bezoar....Moussedude...MTLott...anyone with the key? :grouphug:

Hello...<tap> <tap> is this keyboard working?

Can I at least take my surfboard?

ohhh my....

everyone come visit me behind bars.......

don't worry i'll send you a nice cake :)
there's a file in the cake

:) yes a cake

don't highlight above

And bringing this topic right back on track...here's the stuff I would love to see imagineered in VMK...

1) Better representation for IASW --> I mean making IASW a store, with the only mention of the ride the Paris/Disneyland facade in the background? Why not celebrate its message of polyculturalism with a something educational? I'm thinking a "Learn the Languages of the World" game where you learn how to say "hello," "good bye," "thank you," and "you're welcome" in 20 different languages. That or every week they can make a presentation about a different country/culture and at the end have a quiz for credits.

2) Better representation for the Tiki Room --> This is probably the most disappointing aspect of the VMK design (which pays tribute to all the Magic Kingdoms in an amazingly comprehensive manner, IMO). I mean, the only thing we have for the Tiki Room is a public room that just has a sign that says "The Enchanted Tiki Room" and a "Tiki Room" guest room that's just a beach with one Tiki idol in the corner? It's almost blasphemous! I would love to see a public room or an extra-exculsive Tiki Room guest room where you had the interior of the Tiki Room full of birds overhead, and tiki idols all around the room!

3) Cast member styled costumes --> I would LOVE to sport a Tiki Room cast member shirt (just like the replicas they're selling on DisneyDirect for $99.99 which I'm drooling over). I would also love to haunt VMK in a ToT bellhop costume...be wearing a PoTC costume complete with the stripey socks...sport a Indiana Jones fedora (and ask people to lift up their hands and pull on the yellow strap ;))...I'd even be excited with Matterhorn lederhosen!

I know I have many more ideas...maybe one of ya'll will help me remember them with more posts! ;)

I think I saw a dog running around with it in it's mouth. he he he

Try whistling, yeah, that might work. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

oops, derailed again....

ummm....

ummm.....

how about a vmk waterpark? I also liked mal's idea about the mini golf. I cant go a week without playing a few games of Disney Golf on my ps2. Its just so fun lol.

I love all my rooms but it would be nice to have something a bit more feminine to go with my princess dress.

Long hair styles would be nice too (ala Aurora, Alice, Ariel...say, it is interesting that the long hair ladies names all start with A, never noticed before...oh yes, Jasmine and Pocahontas...well that changes that theory).

I love all your ideas and I too wonder why surferrat left me out of his list but then the tag fairy has not found me either.

Evidently I left a few friends and I am going to update this list ASAP...Mal already hunted me down in game and said ###...I don't know what that ment... :cool1:

Just a cake!!! And hope a key fits in it...

Ohh and thanks for coming to visit WDWLover!!!

it would be cool to see bikes and and skate boards and stuff like that. or even better having a theme park in vmk with roller coasters and vendors. they should also open a mcdonalds or any resturant :c

I agree! I have been left out as well, and no tag fairy for me either. :guilty:

I do love the ideas here though. What about the carousel? Can't we do something with that? :confused3

. . . when he DOES bring you that bar of soap I'd advise not bending over to pick it up!

A carousel? Hmm... we can have a game where people operate the ride while others ride it?
Operator Tasks
A game where you can press buttons to make the music proceed and maybe even a part where we have to keep pressing a random button down for a beginning/finale snare drum roll (and cymbal crash :) ).
Of course, this will have to be a multitasking ride as you have to keep the carousel spinning by clicking the mouse when prompted... a click before the prompt slows it down, a click after speeds it up, making it harder for the riders to play. (See below)
Rider's Tasks
The riders have to repeat a set of key presses to hold on to the carousel and in some cases, hold on with one hand so they can give the operator a thumbs up or thumbs down depending on how well he does with the music and spinning. Spinning too fast will make the key repeats longer and the time you have to press them shorter.

(the end)

I would create a tea cup game where you had to click the Mad Hatter and Alice as they popped up all over the screen and that would make the tea cup go faster and faster. For each one you clicked you would earn points and depending on how fast the tea cup goes you get extra points for that.

I was thinking about this the other day and then read this thread. After I got up :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: from reading Suferrat's post I decided to add my own "serious" thoughts and ravings about what I would like to see on VMK.

- :rockband: Pop up bandstand like in DL Tomorrowland and have VMK "guestcastmembers" to sing like- Annette singing "Mr Piano man", Jimmy Dodd and the gang "Now it's time". Fess Parker "A Cowboy Needs A Horse" or more contemporary singers like, uh, um, oh, Raven? :confused3

- Walt's apartment room with Walt Disney himself to welcome us like Esmerlda or Ned. He could have canned speech Walt quotes like "To all who come to this happy place, welcome".

- :dancer: Bring back "Date Nite at Disneyland" a place for all those "Are You Taken?" kids to hang out on "Friday and Saturday Nights" :cool1:

- Keep main street and shops open for 1 hour past closing like in the real parks and have some special events during those times like a parade :jumping1: where we could all line up and...well I guess we already do that part. Woot

I think people should be able to acess a Ride Desinger Option simular to that of roller coaster tycoon and they would be able to make their own rides and charge over priced rides for unexperienced peoples.[i dont know if i spelled designer right]
