That email was is not correct they later corrected it. But bottom line yes, starting Sep 23 no more pre-cruise testing for vaccinated guests

We are sailing 9/30! So glad the worry of supervised testing 1-2 days prior is cancelled! We will be at Disneyworld the donuts going to be so much more relaxing!

I still gotta get tested for the magic…why why why!
From the DCL Covid-19 Section under Know Before You Go, Updated today.

For sailings aboard the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish and Disney Wonder beginning September 23, 2022 (and Disney Magic beginning November 7, 2022), fully vaccinated Guests will no longer be required to complete a second COVID-19 test at the terminal on embarkation day.

I got a total of 4 emails for 2 upcoming cruises. The one that says no testing for vaccinated guests came after the one that said testing still required. Which one is it DCL? I believe it will be no testing and that would be fantastic. Hopefully they will straighten it out ASAP.

Arrrrrgh! Why do you always have to be the last ones Disney???? We are going on a back-to-back Wish 9/9 and 12...just 10 days shy of this going into effect. I wish they would have started now. Oh well, glad it is ending finally for cruises going forward, but this certainly would have been nice so we don't need to pack up between cruises and have testing done at the port.

Then there should NO port arrival times. It's time to bring back the pre-COVID embarkation!

PATs have been in place for over a decade, it had nothing to do with covid. PATs are DCL's answer to fire marshal regulations on controlling crowds. The terminal is not approved for full crowds like the Dream, Fantasy and now the Wish. It was fine for the Magic and Wonder.

But, maybe platinum could go back to not needing one...

FINE, I'll be more blunt. If you're a Platinum castaway club member, then you never needed a PAT before COVID. It's time to end unnecessary COVID restrictions and go back to the pre-COVID embarkation with the amenities that DCL has always provided leading up to COVID.

Not really needed to be blunt just specific. Had you said "platinum" it would have made sense. Because everyone else has always had to book a PAT.

I hope they do change it back. There really aren't enough perks with Castaway Club.... Platinum should at least get this one back asap.
