Lets me get this right NO pre board COVID TESTS 9/23/2022

Blaming the ports is really sad. Looking at the Covid numbers in the US, there’s a very good chance that people are picking it up before boarding. Someone could be
So, really no response...

I do appreciate that platinum can still book activities 120 days out, although it seems like on the Wish even that doesn't work.
Or on popular cruises like the Southern Caribbean.

However, if enough Platinum Castaway Club guests say something, there is a chance that DCL will make changes.
I just don't understand, if the argument is that they want to have less people crowding and smaller boarding groups, just reserve the first 5 or however many boarding groups after concierge boards for Platinum. I get they don't want all of Platinum in one group, but there are still ways to give Platinum boarding priority and they just went a completely different way.

This is a perfect point. Please send your thoughts to dcl.guest.communications@disneycruise.com. If enough guests complain, they will take notice and change the embarkation procedure.

I’m a bit confused here and hope someone can help me.

We are family of 3 including 4 yr old who is not vaccinated (both myself and husband are vaccinated with booster) from Canada.
My understanding is no testing required to present DCL upon arrival for my kid as he is only 4yrs old.
But if I check bahamas.com (run by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Aviation), there is a separate requirement for cruise passengers and it says unvaccinated travellers ages 2 and older will be required to obtain a negative Covid-19 test….

I thought Castaway Key is located in Bahamas 🇧🇸 therefore we need to follow their rule? Or as this is Disney’s private island, we can just follow what DCL requires?

It looks like everything on Deck 12 is Tangled … my 16 yo son will be thrilled 😂 Honestly, he won’t care - it’s a surprise cruise so he should be happy no matter what the theme is!
