Let's Help Bring Back The Original CRT!

I can't wait to go in January!! I don't know how it used to be, so I will find out for myself how it is now! To the above posters, thanks for the encouragement/positive posts, because I almost started to listen to everyone and second guess my choice! I can't wait to dine in the castle!

now I get my wish- but it is 10 times better than I ever dreamed because my DD and all of my little nieces will be there too, along with my mom, sister and cousins.

What a wonderful time you are going to have. My wish would be to have lunch in the castle with the women and girls in my family. ENjoy your very special meal!

My family ate at CRT in April for my DD13's birthday, dinner time. It was not the first time we've eaten there over the years. First time since the changes, though. We thought it was very good actually. Our server was very good and so was the food. My kids like the interaction with the FGM and the mice and the picture with Cinderella. We'd eat there again this way or the other way either one.

We just had dd's 13th birthday dinner there in August. The service was very good and the food was, too. The servings were huge! The berry sorbet was absolutely delicious. I wish there was a little more choice, and it was more expensive than I'd like, but I can't complain, since I knew the price going in.

I had told dd that CRT was way too expensive now, and she thought that her only birthday meal was CP for breakfast. At breakfast, I left an "invitation" to dinner at the castle for her when she went up to get food. The look on her face said it all. That was worth $223 (or in our case 2 free dining credits) alone.

We'd eat there again.

You dont understand? Have you not been reading the reviews? About 90% of the reviews are saying service, the food, everything has gone bad. Why would you wanna eat there?
Allearsnet.com reviews ...

Dinner: 27/30 recommended
Lunch: 18/22 recommended
Breakfast: 26/30 recommended

Maybe it's not quite the horrid dump you've been lead to believe

I really liked having the choice between the character breakfast and a calm "normal" lunch or dinner. We never had a problem getting even a last minute ADR for lunch---which I would guess, is why WDW added the princesses for other meals, because they had 2 or 3 times the number of people wanting the Princess breakfast as could get ADRs. Obviously, they've increased the dining flow.

Since our kids are now older, I don't know if we'll go back, since we valued that meal as an "escape" time from all the bustle.

I really think the MK needs a restaurant like the Blue Bayou at DL which is more dining oriented.

I am really hoping to be able to celebrate our anniversary at CRT. It isn't about the food or even the characters, but about the WHOLE EXPERIENCE.

Will the food be bad? I hope not. I won't let other people's opinions dictate where I am going to eat though. I am going to spend the money and see for myself.

Some people rave about Biergarten, but I thought it was just ok. Some people don't like AK, but I do. The list goes on and on.

So, even if 100 people say they don't like something it doesn't mean I won't.

To everyone that was lucky enough to get ADR's, have a great time!!
