Have you ever said to yourself, "I'm the best at _______!!!!" ?

I have come to the conclusion that I am the best multi-tasker in the entire world!!!! I amaze myself with how many things I can get done at once It's a gift!!!!!

So, brag about yourself a little bit. What are you the best at?

My in-laws say that I am very handy. If it needs to be installed, fixed, assembled, tweaked, adjusted or wired, they call me because neither my FIL nor my SIL's husband can do any of these things. If it needs to be demolished, they call my DW.

I should add that I wasn't aware of this "talent" until we bought our home, a definite fixer-upper.

OH...and...

I can ALWAYS get that last dish into the dishwasher!

Mine is that i'm the worlds best bargain hunter (i've been tagged for it in the past!) My whole family comes to me when they need to purchase something or rent a hotel room or get plane tickets. My grandparents just bought a new computer and had me find the best price for them. I don't buy cheap stuff at good prices, I buy good stuff at cheap prices!

I can find anything my Dh is looking for or has lost. Sometimes I find it for him before he knows he's looking for it. I think it scares him.

I can do makeup and hair like nobody's business. I brought my makeup into work - did my co-workers makeup, they looked PHENOMENAL!

Then one girl went one for dinner that night, and the waitress said "Your makeup is gorgeous?!?! How do you do it, what do you use?" And not wanting to answer "I dont wear makeup - my co-worker attacked me and slapped this stuff on me" she just said "Thank you!"

Made me smile!

And - I'm super creative - can draw, paint, etc like nobody's business too. I actually went to one of those pottery places, picked out a baseball - painted the whole old White Sox logo on it - and that balll hold's my Mom's ashes.

I am my crafty-est friend... My friends have little to no artistic abilities. I love that they depend on me for things like that

I can usually get 2 sides of an issue to come to some sort of basic understanding or compromise. I have not done this formally, just between 'fighting' family members or in organizations where I volunteer. I really don't believe my firends or family are even aware I do this. It is all just through casual chats--

I have not try to mediate the Israeli-Palestinian issue, though!

I am pretty decent at linking organizations with common goals/issues or rather the people who work within those organizations. I pick up a phone or go to a function & chat & figure out a way to get everyone together.
I call it 'gadding about'--I just seem to make it happen for all concerned--at least I've had no complaints--yet .

Actually I am just chatty, like to facilitate & am excited about all the good people do.

I don't have any practical talents & I sure am not easy on the eyes!

Well, everyone in my family teases me about being the best trip planner! Not just for us, but for other people too! I admit it's one of my favorite things to do! DH teases me that as soon as we are home from a trip, I'm on the internet planning our next one.

I have one true talent and it's home decorating. Every single person in my family has used me to decorate their homes. It's a talent God gave me, I call it my THIRD EYE.

I'm really, really smart.

I make small mistakes all the time (grammar niggles, forgetting my own phone number , etc.) but I have a God-given ability to get my mind around concepts and put information together that's really cool. It's always been my "thing", and I'm very grateful for it!

I love this thread! So many people, especially women, are afraid to acknowledge what's good about them, for fear of having someone challenge them or accuse them of arrogance. I think it's great that we can all celebrate the gifts we've been given!

My 'secret' was buying a scale and using it. The positive feedback of seeing the number decrease was motivating. Diet changes consisted of some smarter choices and "less pie in the pie-hole".
