First of all, I love that multi-colored swirly suitcase!

The way you describe Randy is so sweet! Any guy that gives up his seat on the bus is a good guy. I'm amazed by the amount of young people who will sit while elderly people stand!

Ugh, an hour delay to takeoff. That is never fun. At least you got a nap!

Your wallet!!! YIKES!! Well, I think your wallet loss capabilities are catchy because I lost my wallet today. I still haven't found it and I'm starting to freak out. I'm almost certain I left it somewhere today.

What a pretty resort! I've only ever stayed at Pop, which I really like. But, it would be nice to try someplace else one of these days.

That Ariel statue has a downright ugly face.

Ok, all caught up and loving it so far! Love the picture of Tink's visit! Wow, you guys definitely had a lot of luggage! I thought I was bad!

Your wallet story had me so worried! I hate feeling like I've lost something, especially something as important as a wallet! So glad that you found it, but boo to starting off the trip in such a stressful way.

That poncho picture has me worried. I sure hope the rain didn't put too much of a damper on the trip!

Great photos! I hate that people don't take towels off of their chairs when they leave. So annoying! The solarium looks so inviting!

SAB is huge and confusing, I'd imagine especially if you're trying to find someone. I remember chairs all being full when we were there too...we ended up putting our stuff on some rocks (along with a lot of other peoples' stuff). I really liked the sand bottom, though, that was so unique. Cute pics of you and Ash!

Someday I will get to stay at Beach Club. It is on my list. along with the Poly, Wilderness Lodge, Aulani. A girl can dream.

Woohoo! I made an appearance in your TR I'm sorry your first encounter with SAB was not a good one. Now that you mention it, it is kind of hard to get around and can be confusing, especially after a few mojitos But seriously, isn't that sand unreal?!? It's MAGICAL I tell you!!

Ok, I have to share this with you, it looks like our room was directly across from you! Here's a view from our 2008 trip. I could see our room in your pic so I was thinking you could probably see your room in my pic! LOL. Love the quiet pool!!

See....SAB doesn't do much for me....not that I have ever been BUT I don't like sand so the idea of all that sand really turns me off. Ick. I do enjoy the idea of a lazy river though.

I love Aisling's bathing suit, it is so pretty and colorful and the picture of you two at the end is gorgeous! That should be framed.

I have a giant pet peeve about people not giving up seats. I really don't understand where these young men were raised. Or if you have a little one...hold them on your LAP for cryin' out loud when there is a two hour wait for buses (but that part is coming up!)

Purple suitcase is a Target special. 3 pieces for $15 on Black Friday last year. It held our shoes for this trip

So glad I'm not the only person who was confused by that pool. I was fearing that I left my brain in Boston that day!

My room WAS directly across from yours!!! (which means that you weren't walking miles lucky!) If you look at the bathroom in your picture, we were the first balcony when you are looking over from the roof toward the pool. As I mentioned, the quiet pool was closed 90% of the trip so we never got to use it


Real update coming tonight I promise. Done with my vacation and back to reality (at work )

As I mentioned in my last post...it had started to rain so we headed upstairs. As you can see by the pic of Aisling looking over the balcony, the storm was short-lived This made me so happy because the forecast for the week was terrible and I kept reminding Randy that they were clearly referring to the short afternoon rainstorms so frequent in Central Florida. Boy was I wrong

So we rested for a little bit and then decided to get dressed for dinner at none other than Cape May.

They were running a little late for our ADR (another common theme during this trip) so Aisling sat down to watch Snow White...or take a snooze, you be the judge

Randy tried out these canoe-like chairs in the lobby

They sat us about 15 minutes after our ADR time which turned out to be not too bad. While we were waiting, Randy pointed out that there were really dark clouds rolling in over the Boardwalk but I chose to ignore them because my weather bug said the storms were over

I have to say that this was the BEST meal we had all week. Definitely a repeater. I was so skeptical of mass-produced seafood but everything was SOOOOOO yummy. And I was also introduced to the new and improved Disney mixed drink menu. Tonight I went with the Key Lime Martini

Aisling was way more interested in the tablecloth you could draw on but even she found something she enjoyed (NOT a seafood fan)

And she had an important decision to make...would we go to MK for EMHs or was that 4am wakeup call just too much for her????

love it so far! I lost my wallet last August! Thank goodness it was just a card holder so no more than $40 was in it but I too freaked about the airport...turns out I wasnt the first to have that happen to! I needed a drink after we got off the tram though!

I am enjoying your TR! The Yacht Club was my first resort and I have stayed at the YC/BC complex 3 times, so it feels like home. I've never stayed in a DVC villa though. I enjoyed your photos of your villa. It looks nice, even though it's not as nice as the picture that was posted from All Ears of the refurbished Beach Club rooms. The last time I stayed at BC was in 2005, so they looked more like your villa looked than what was posted on All Ears.

I was so nervous reading about your lost wallet! And how scary to have so many wallet incidents on vacations!

I love Storm Along Bay! However, I do agree that it is a confusing layout....which appears to be a continuing theme at that resort complex.

I don't have a good feeling about all that rain you keep mentioning!

You really need to do the dinner. I sampled quite a bit and there was NOTHING that I didn't like.

Oh I really hope you like it. I'm a bit of a seafood snob being from New England but it really was tasty. And there was quite a bit for non-seafood fans.

I hate rain right now so I feel for you reading your TR!

So glad you loved Camp May! We ate there for the first time in May 2010 and it is now a must-do every trip for DH! You combine buffet with seafood and add on yummy desserts and he is in heaven!

Not liking that late ADR's were a trend for your trip.
