Lesser of two evils - when would YOU go?

I would go earlier in the year. Honestly, I can stand any kind of line as long as I'm not drowning in a pool of my own sweat. And being "plugged in" to Disney trip planning, using FP+, park touring plans, and advice on this forum will give you an advantage over most people on spring break anyway, even if the crowds did happen to be bad. In short, you can help mitigate crowds with planning. Nothing really fixes Orlando summer weather. LOL.

I like April. Flower and Garden festival is going on, so that is always nice.

When would I go? Summer.

Spring break crowds peg the crowd meter. We can handle the heat though, even if we are from "up north"

Edit: checking touringplans it looks like that first week of April is similar to June crowds. I would do whichever had the better price.

We prefer summer. We went early June this year, and crowds weren't as bad as I thought they would be. Our favorite time is to leave right after the last day of school ends, which is always the Friday before Memorial Day.

I would do June/July and more days...to spread it out. If you can't - April was beautiful weather!

Thank you all for the input! I should clarify, we will spend five days regardless of when we go, so summer wouldn't give us a longer stay. I'm definitely leaning toward April, though now it sounds like that may not work as well for my husband's job schedule. So I guess we cross our fingers and see what kind of discounts come up this fall for the spring! I do appreciate hearing everyone else's opinions
