lesbians need not apply

Look a little further down the down a check "alien".

This is now so far OT. And please, nobody start a "gender bender" thread...

Wow. How about you tell us how you really feel, honey?

Your nastiness is noted, catalogued, and is understood.

How dare you judge others in the way you just have. It's disgusting.

We were having a relatively courteous conversation until you just came along and ruined it with your hateful little rant.

I suggest you hide in your house from all of the gays, transgenders (gender benders???), bisexuals, etc. Your town will be the next one taken over.

It's one big ol' gay agenda. Spread fabulousness around the world.

:rainbow:

Peace out dude. Check the hate.

Hateful rant? No humor in the your community I guess. There are two genders - male and female. You are one or the other. If you think you are one and you look down and see the other, you can get reassignment surgery to become the other. Still only two genders -- get it?

If that was humor, don't quit your day job, buddy. It wasn't funny.

I know the world is a big, bad, scary place.

That doesn't mean we should close ourselves off to those that don't fit our stereotypes.

No humor? Maybe becasue that is not funny.

Just because you and yours might fit perfectly into a little box that does not mean the rest of the world does.

I only had about 6 credit hours of biology in College, so I guess I may not be as enlightened to the other human genders other than male and female. I guess humor , as in beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

I didn't know you were gay. :groom:

So now only gays can attend when they are having gay days? Or did I blow some massive homophobic stereotype you had put me in?

oh man, really? i felt like i was elbow to elbow with lots of red shirts every time i went with my friends during gay days.

slow this year? hmmm....perhaps a trip is in order....i haven't been to a disney park since last may and it's killin' me.

(i'm in love with those houses being built near you...how do you like the city you live in? do you commute far? i'd need to get from about the 152 exit on 101 to foster city, and later just into santa clara if i moved there...this is in parentheses so nobody else can read this, right?)

Yes it has been unbelievably slow this year. We were there on December 20 and 21 and it was less busy than a normal summer day. Next trip is mid feb, we are going down there and as part of it the Conference of Grand Masters is meeting in Anahiem. Park closed dinner at CA adventure and a preview of the new show at the Hyperion :)

Gilroy is ok, would rather live up the road a bit in Morgan Hill, but it is cheaper here..

To commute to Foster City would be a minumum of 1 hour with no traffic, depending on time of day, you could add 15 to 45 minutes more. (I grew up in San Mateo so very familiar with that area)

If it wasn't in the last few years, they've started teachin' the more sophisticated aspects
of biology for students these days, however gender is a whole other subject anyway.

I have to admit-I was raised with: "male and female He created them" so I'm not that up on whatever other genders there are.

kewl! i need to visit soon and see the refurbished castle walkthrough.

grand master? masons?

i'd rather live closer too, but as you say, the price is better in gilroy. arcadia homes/cliffrose model. i think it should be mine.

i used to go from about blossom hill to bowers, and then it took over an hour. the section of freeway south towards gilroy looks as though it has been significantly widened...i suspect that would help a lot.

GET OUTTA TOWN!!!! ME TOO!!!! (aragon...you?)

ETA: my brother was in demolay in san mateo.

I'm sorry if you feel like your comments were misunderstood.

I thought they came off as a bit insensitive.

I always wondered how come the Bible never addressed intersexuals.

In 1843 Levi Suydam, a 23-year-old resident of Salisbury, Connecticut, asked the town's board of selectmen to allow him to vote as a Whig in a hotly contested local election. The request raised a flurry of objections from the opposition party, for a reason that must be rare in the annals of American democracy: It was said that Suydam was "more female than male," and thus (since only men had the right to vote) should not be allowed to cast a ballot. The selectmen brought in a physician, one Dr. William Barry, to examine Suydam and settle the matter.

Well-to paraphrase the X Files: perhaps God didn't include the side projects?

No offense intended. I'm one of those Christians that believes that it's possible that not everything is in the Bible.

But if the MD's assign a gender to these folks-then aren't we back to male and female?

Man made rules, yes.

I guess that's why some folks think MDs are God, huh? :)

Then there's this:

From the moment we're born, our gender identity is no secret. We're either a boy or a girl. Gender organizes our world into pink or blue. As we grow up, most of us naturally fit into our gender roles. Girls wear dresses and play with dolls. For boys, it's pants and trucks.

But for some children, what's between their legs doesn't match what's between their ears — they insist they were born into the wrong body. They are transgender children, diagnosed with gender identity disorder, and their parents insist this is not a phase.

Today, hundreds of families with transgender children — who have found each other over the Internet — are taking a dramatically different course. They're allowing their children to live in the gender they identify with in order to save them from a future of heartache and pain.

"I think we're a very normal family," said Renee's husband, Scott. "I think we have a very healthy marriage. We love to watch our children in all of their activities, whether it's at school, or on the field playing sports."

Understanding Transgender Children

but again-they're still ending up as male or female. I can see that something can go wrong during development that could cause this sort of thing-but the end result is still the same. Male or Female.

You sure about that? :rolleyes1

Only 5 more pages in the last 4 hours. I'm surprised.

Has anything been resolved? Do we all like each other now?

Well as near as I can tell, while I was packing/sleeping the conversation turned toward gender classification. I dunno about liking everyone but I like some of the people here, does that count? :flower3:
