I know other people have posted this but I am not sure which one to book. I am not a very adventurous eater and both my husband and I like steak. We have been to Les Cellier for lunch but it was a very long time ago. This will be for dinner and I have read the menus but I am still not sure what to do. Can anyone tell me a little bit more about the Boma offerings. My husband doesn't think he will like it. Are the foods spicey?

The BOMA offerings are mixed. The meat station is generally ordinary stuff, prime rib, chicken, salmon, ribs. I love the prime rib and usually get a mountain of it. There are side sauces you can use but the prime rib itself is not spiced. The ribs are spicy, I don't know about the others. They rotate the meat (two different offerings depending on the night you go) but we always go on the prime rib nights.

Along the rest of the buffet, you will find some very unusual items, particularly the soups (which are some of the best I've ever tasted), but then you'll also have a salad bar full of regular salad fixings, fruit, etc. We've been there with picky eaters who did just fine. The unique items are not real spicy but they do have a different taste; it's just not "hot" spicy taste.

Most of the food is recognizable and the stuff that is not is labeled as to what it is. They also have the kids station with very standard fare.

I have never eaten at Boma but I've heard good things about it. I have eaten at Le Cellier though, and I think that the food there is incredible. The fillet is so tasty and tender - I loved it.

Pakey, thank you for the information. I did read the menu but your descriptions were what I was looking for. I love prime rib and as long as the sauces are on the side, I think we should be okay. Do you know if they serve the prime rib on Mondays?

DH and I went to Boma's a couple years ago and we didn't care for it and haven't been back since. Not saying it was bad, just not our cup of tea. Le Cellier on the other hand we absolutely love, haven't tried since the new menu and it's all booked(of course) for our trip in Sept. So my vote would be for Le Cellier.

I ate at Boma and Le Cellier last week. First time for both. Loved them both. The Prime rib at Boma is part of their menu served on Wednesday and Saturday. There are 3 different menu rotations thru the week. It was posted here a couple of weeks ago. Boma was outstanding and more memorable than Le Cellier. At Boma, I tried everything! I probably used a dozen plates. All expectations were met and exceeded. Many things were usual but done just a little different, and a few things that were unique. Now I know what people mean when they rave about Boma. :goodvibes

You've seen the menus, so it's up to you and what you like. If you want more meat and potatoes, Le Cellier. If you're adventurous, want to try something different (everything isn't hot and spicy, but more exotic flavors), maybe a little more variety and such, try Boma. FWIW.

If you're there on a night they have their flank steak, it's amazing. We got the recipe and I grill some up every couple of weeks during the summer.

I would pick Boma. We hesitated to eat there for a long time because we thought it was too different for our taste. But we gave in a try in September and we loved it :goodvibes. The prime rib is terrific :thumbsup2. The buffet has such a variety of foods that everybody can find plenty to eat.

Never been to Boma but LOVED Le Cellier!

Both restaurants are very good. My personal favorite, though, is Boma. Looking forward to dinner there our first evening at WDW. :goodvibes

Thanks everyone. I'm going to go out on a limb and try Boma. We've been to Le Cellier and it is always fun to try something new!
