Most of the Premium sites will probably fit your rig and some of the Preferred/Full. Regardless, the Fort will take some huge RVs somewhere. The key is specifying how long and/or wide your trailer is on your reservation. The CMs take that into consideration when assigning sites.

The bigger issue with some of the Preferred and Full loops is getting through the loop and backed into your site. I towed 44 and 48 ft trailers with my race team. You need a lot of room on the street to maneuver into a spot. Trees, trash bins, other cars and sometimes just the angle of the road and site make the longer rigs tough to park. Premium loops/sites generally have more room to get around.

Yes you will. There may be a chance that you will have more room if you leave your tow vehicle in the overflow which is what I have started doing.

thanks for the tips

Yeah you shouldn't have a problem, I have a 43 ft fifthwheel, I park my truck in the overflow parking. We have pently of room in our site, we usually reserve the Premium site, I stayed in loop 300 which is preferred with the last fifthwheel we had which 30ft. I didn't have a problem with the 30 footer but I don't think I would try it with our 43 footer, too many people have two or three cars in their sites parked close to or on the road. I'm pretty good at driving/towing but I wouldn't risk a preferred loop for that reason.

guys thanks for the help we are going to book this weekend. I just hope we have good weather in new York so we can have a safe trip down with no snow.

Tiggerdad, I might be able to bring you some when we leave in a few weeks. Would have to go to the ski resort to get it. Usually doesn't snow where we live until Halloween.

I have a 40ft 5th wheel as well. What I found is that Preferred sites are hit and miss if they can take the RV, premium sites are no issue at all. With the preferred I had to park my truck in overflow, but that was fine by me. I had my golf cart and actually liked the extra space in front of the camper.

We have a 40 ft. Class A and have stayed in the 300 loop (Preferred). It was an incredibly tight spot to get into, but we eventually did. This time we are going Premium.

we are booked for Christmas 2016 in a premium site. what are the rules on decorating your site for the holiday's

bsblady01,

I decorated heavy last year and had the decorations police come by for an inspection. I was told:

No lights on the trees (can't wrap the tree trunks in lights)
No lights on the fences (the wooden rail fences, even if they are on your site)
No more than halfway to your neighbor's site

Denise gave you a good link for the official rules, but these were the specific ones I was found in violation with (though the guy was really nice about it)
