Lemonheads: Love for Lemonade Mouth

I searched high and low on the forum for something about Lemonade Mouth and I couldn't beleive that there was nothing about them.

My hubby said something the other day about Lemonade Mouth being the next BIG thing out of Disney. I was like Lemon what...and how does he know what is the next BIG thing out of Disney.

So two days the later the movie was on TV so we decided to watch it. It was really a great story (and I could totally relate being an outcast from my own HS days)

I just downloaded Determinate from iTunes and the song that Mo sings at the pizza place (forget the name)

Ok so I absolutely didn't like any of the high school musical movies, so I instantly wrote this movie off. Big mistake! I watched it like a day after it came out and now I love it. I just couldn't stop singing the songs.

I thought the movie was a watered down Breakfast Club forms a band fantasy. However, I did really like the fact that the guitarist could just be a rebel, but she reminds me of the girls I knew in HS that are now lesbians, and while there are gay males on other shows for teen boys to model after, positive lesbian characters outside of indies and shows aimed at adults are hard to come by for teen girls.

And. . .okay, so I have album on my Droid. Love the music.

The fact that they met in detention did make me think of The Breakfast Club.

Who has bought the DVD? What did you think of the extended ending? I loved it! I was cracking up.

My kids all love this movie and DH and I enjoyed it too. The music is liked by even my big kids . I hope Disney does make this the next big thing. IMO it is better than HSM. Does anyone think they will make a Lemonade Mouth block Party like the HSM one at DHS?

I LOVED Lemonade Mouth! I haven't gotten a chance to watch the entire thing yet, but I plan to buy it on DVD soon. It's one of my new favorites!

I haven't been able to admit to my students at school how much I loved Lemonade Mouth ... every time they bring it up I just smile and nod vaguely. I watched it one lazy afternoon while it was on Disney Channel on Demand, and I found myself hooked by the time they started singing Determinate. When Olivia's mom's cat died I couldn't stop crying. I think the movie had a good message for kids to stand up for what they believe in and the music is really catchy and well crafted. It has already been added to both my Disney and workout playlists.

This movie is simply great and interactive for good learning and children favorite as well as adults.I have watched this movie a couple of times and it rocks.

Yeah, and Stella only wears pants except for one scene.

AH I LOVE LEMONADE MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!

My uncle came to visit earlier this week, and he asked me what Lemonade Mouth was. I got so excited, I spent twenty minutes giving him a play-by-play of the movie, my favorite characters and the songs. XD

I loved it from the moment I saw it, even though I was quite skeptical! Now it's one of my absolute favorite movies. Disney did a great job on this one.
