Legoland ??

Hiya All.

Whats your thoughts on the new Lego Land currently been constructed in Orlando?

We are considering whether or not to incorporate it into one of our days this coming October but cant help thinking its a waste of a day as I can go to Legoland here in the UK should I wish

We have been to LegoLand in Windsor previously and it chucked it down all day. To be honest our children got bored fairly quickly of walking around the Lego Village and the queues for the rides were crazy Will Legoland Orlando be any different

I'd wondered about it for our Oct trip but not sure if it will definitely be ready and if if has literally just opened I imagine the crowds will be mad.

DD did enjoy legoland windsor but she was only 3 when we went.

It's extended its pre-opening discounts through to the end of April, so I suspect it hasn't been over-subscribed.

We were looking into this last night but as the opening date is a very vague OCTOBER 2011 its impossible to know if its actually going to be open when we go !!

That said it did look very impressive on the website and Id like to think if it was open we would give it a try!!
I have never been o legoland Windsor though so I couldnt comment on if its the same or not!!
Have you checked out the website for the florida Legoland??

Hiya, yes I've been on the website but to be honest I really struggled to enlarge the map and its all illustrations at the moment rather than actual pictures etc..

At the time of opening the thread I was under the impression that it was due to open earlier than October, in light of this I dont know whether we may give it a miss this year and make it a definate for next. I'm guessing it maybe rather busy even though it will be October
