Legoland...Reserve N Ride?

My 9 yo son really wants to go to legoland this year, so we are planning a one day trip from Disneyland. I'm trying to decide which day to go...sunday or Monday 15 or 16 July. I know traffic will be better on Sunday but crowds will be worse. Not sure about crowds on DL on those 2 days with D23 that weekend.
Wondering if anyone has used the Reserve N Ride and your thoughts?

I used it, it's easy to use and great time saver. However, legoland doesn't get busy enough to justify cost in most cases. What I recommend is to not preorder it, and go to park early. If it starts looking really busy, then buy it. In theory it's possible for them to sell out, so that a small risk.


One thing to note, the reserve and ride only works with a small amount of the rides, although they are the ones with the longest wait.


I recommend the VIP tour way more than reserve and ride, you get real special treatment and get to do things you normally wouldn't.

We're also planning a 1 day legoland trip on July 15th! And also wondering about reserve n ride.

In case you haven't purchased your tickets - We just bought our tickets online using the buy 1 get 1 free code we picked up at the Lego store. It was even cheaper than the military discount tickets.

Eh, Legoland is a half a day park, not worth the extra expense IMO. We got there first thing in the morning and had seen/done what we wanted by noon. I don't remember waiting more than 20mins even for the most popular rides. Can't recall exactly what day of the week it was but it was late June. I just remember thinking I would have been really upset if I'd paid full price price for the tickets.

Thanks for the advice...I think we'll just go Monday and see how bad it is. We'll hit the ones he really wants first and probably end up in the water park anyway. Luckily I also found a buy one get one free coupon link on these boards.
