Legoland hotels

Can anyone recommend the best closest hotel to Legoland? TIA

The Sheraton Carlsbad has it's own gate into Legoland, you just walk across the parking lot. We've been to several special meals at the restaurant there (Easter brunch, 4th of July BBQ) and it's a really nice place.
