LeCellier cant seat six people??

Can this be true?? I just called to make my PS for lunch on January 4, 2005 , its a Tuesday. I stated its for my family of six and the CM told me they cant seat six! She said they could do a table of four and a table of two, and that they will note to keep the tables side by side, but cant guarantee it. Has this ever happened to any of you before??

Yes, we're a family of 5 and fairly often we've been told that when making a PSs. We've always been seated together in actuality with one exception at San Angel when we were seted at the banquette tables but they had not pushed them together. We did it ourselves!

We have eaten at LeCellier with both a party of 5 and another time 6. We were all seated together. I wouldn't worry about it.

we had this problem once there were 6 of us , thsy fit us at the same table along the wall with all the mirrors. ask them if they can add chairs , you may be squished tho.....i would reserve the 4 + 2 now its your best bet, you probably wont get that request filled without ps

I would say it is probably the way the WDW computer system works. There may be no actual tables to accomodate a party of 6, so they book a party of 4 and a party of 2 then push the tables together, as long as they aren't blocking an accessway.

If they had a table designated as "6" in the computer, it may prevent a party of "4" and a party of "2" from being booked.

We had a party of ten there once. We were towards the back with a long booth on one side and chairs on the other. I think the tables were pushed together.

Well..... We have quite a few PS's for 7 and we have had in the past as well.
Le Cellier for CP is one of the ones where we have 7. We have had one PS for 7 there before there as well. We also have taken the combination option to get us all in but have nicely asked at check in and have never had to sit apart.
I can't think of any restaurants off the top of my head that did not have any tables that would not accommodate 6 at least.
