Okay - 24 hours to go
I just want to make sure all my I's are dotted and T's are crossed - this will be our first BIG trip anywhere with the kids - we have done an overnight to the beach before but that is it - This is 2 weeks away from home and driving from MA to WDW. So far I have:
* Packed all clothes, toiletry bag, and fun bag for kids - hopefully I have it all!
* Charged all batteries for cameras - packed Camcorder, 2 digital cameras, 1 film camera, extra batteries, extra memory cards, extra film.
* In the process of putting together all my lists of hints, penny lists, maps, etc.
* Went to Toys R Us and picked up "jeep" brand double stroller - easy to put together - super easy to fold up (compact) - not too expensive (70.00) - comes with side by side seats that recline and have a sun shield as well as cup holder for mom/dad and a small bag for holding things - no underneath storage but that wasn't a concern for us.
* Went through existing purse to take out all extra CC and things we do not need - left in Insurance Cards, Disney Visa, Debit Card, Cash, DD, AAA card.
* Made sure I have the folder with park passes for MNSSHP, confirmation from AAA on reservation, ADR's
* Cleaned house, emptied fridge, all laundry done. Made arrangements with sister to check on house and feed cat. Also have back up of BIL to check house periodically.
* Need to do a last minute run to Walmart for snacks, water, soda, kitty litter & food for the house and anything else I can think of?????
Any help out there - I'm reading the list and thinking I'm a loony bin but I can't help but get that sense of forgetting to do something.
even with all the checklists. For those that have driven what are the things you are gratefull for taking??? Anything you would leave at home?
