Leaving my dog

Hey, I remember paying $100 a minute to check on Chloe when I was on my cruise. Okay, so maybe it wasn't $100 a minute. It was $99. Oh, okay, it was more like $7, but still... ouch.

It was worth it though! Do it if it makes the trip easier on you. I did!

I can't remember... where are you? I'd happily trade off dog-sitting with someone I trusted!

I'm in a suburb just north of Houston. Just in case. ;)

Aw, I wish we were closer! I'm in Ft Worth... a little too far from you =(

Do you have a cell phone? Most major cell phone companies have service in the Carribean. We use Cingular and were able to check in with our pet sitter while in each port of call. It was anywhere from $ .99 to $2.89 per minute depending upon the port. Not necessarily a bargain but cheap enough to allow us to make some calls home during the cruise & feel at ease that everything was fine (and a far cry from the $10/minute charge the ship has!).
