LEAST Favorite Ride? (Blasphemy, I know! But just curious...)

Conservation station (and the flipping hideous train ride over there - doesn't disney realize that some things are best done at the county fair?)

El Rio Del Tiempo - could have been a good ride if designed by someone who wasn't a travel agent hijacking IASW dolls.

The worst actual ride system is Jungle Cruise. The cruise guides make it entertaining, and I actually enjoy it for the combination of bad jokes and kitchiness, but the ride itself is an embarassment. It's hard to believe it's only 33 years old!

The worst show has to be Circle of Life in the Land Pavilion. It is a morality tale about how overdevelopment can ruin the environment, which is not so bad in itself. But it has little entertainment value aside from using Lion King characters, and the irony of WDW itself being the cause of the most of the (over)development in central Florida makes it hard to swallow. When we saw it there were 6 (count 'em, six) people in the auditorium, and 4 of them were us! Makes the Country Bears look like Garth Brooks.

That monorail at the airport is kinda lame, too.

Not touching that one.

My least favorite is Journey Into Your Imagination. Aggressively bad. Really. Can't understand why there are so many Figment fans.

Definitely Astro Orbiter-besides going up in that nightmare of an elevator in the heat and humidity-the ride is so dull. Shame that cant do something more worthwhile with it.

I just want to say I am a Figment fan....but I have a thing for dragons, more of a childhood love.

My least favorite rides: Any sort of Astro-orbitor, magic carpet, etc just way too overdone, and not that interesting to me.
Snow White
Winnie the Pooh
Living with the Land??
The 360 movies in Epcot, I really don't like standing to watch a movie
Conservation Station in AK

I can't really remember the ones I don't like because I have too many other things I do like to see! :bounce:

MK: Indy Speedway (LONG wait for really boring attraction -- my family likes go-carts)
Teacups make me sick.

Epcot:
Test Track was a disappointment (only my then almost 6 year old found it exciting). Maelstrom was pretty disappointing too. But lay off of Mission Space -- we thought it was cool! And my kids really seem to like Journey into Your Imagination, for some reason.

Country Bear
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
and I would have to agree with a couple of the previous posts....The ride home is the ULTIMATE worst ride

Jungle Cruise is my least favorite. Lame animatronics and unbearably bad jokes ( I use that term very loosely).

I like Universe of Energy, especially the part where Ellen makes out with Jamie Lee Curtis!

I have to agree with the OP...Astro Orbiter....

We never go on it...the line is always way too long to wait in.
What's the elevator take up...4,5 people at a time??

:rotfl: I think instead of traveling to Ellen's dream, you had your own dream!

Hmm...

I don't understand why in the MK they have Magic Carpets of Aladdin, aren't the other 2 versions enough? I understand that Stitch is pretty bad, too.

Personally, I thought Test Track was a bit of a disappointment. The only fun part is on the outside when the cars go up to 65mph, and the it's just over. Overrated, I think. Mission Space, however ... Wow :) Incredible.

In MGM I like all the attractions, and RnRC is my favorite ride ever.

And finally, poor Animal Kingdom ... I don't like anything except the Safari and Dinosaur, but I'm sure the new ride they're putting in will be really fun. They have to do something for that park.

To agree with the other posters, the worst ride EVER is the airplane/car ride home.

I went in with an open mind, but Stitch was bad. They should have kept Alien Encounter. Mission Space was OK, I don't see how anyone gets sick on this ride. I rode it back to back twice right after I ate something and it didn't bother me one bit. I think the worst ride by far is the ride home.

I'll name one per park.

Magic Kingdom - I lied - I can't name one. It's a tie between Stitch and the New Tiki Room show. What a mess and an embarassment they both are. Walt is turning over in his grave.

Epcot - Journey Into Your Imagination - again...ridiculous. The original was way way better.

MGM - The current Backstage Tour.

Animal Kingdom - the entire area where Primeval Whirl is located - it's so stupid I can't remember the name. The tacky carnival, roadside thing. I know that is suppose to be the "theme" - but what a cop-out and an excuse to put in cheap carnival rides. And what an eyesore for such a beautiful park.

It's a Small World. By the end of the ride I am ready to drown every one of those freaky, psycho dolls.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Small World is my favorite ride, but that is so funny!

My least favorite attraction is Country Bear Jamborie in MK. It bores me to tears.

IASW - just can't take that song over and over - did it once and never again!!! :crazy2:

What an interesting thread. Isn't funny how different all our opinions are? I can't imagine anyone not liking RNRC or Test Track. I thought I was the only one who didn't care for Spaceship Earth but I see I'm not. It is just such a snoozer to us and a let down since the "ball" is so impressive. I guess we were just expecting more from the ride since it was in there.

I've been thinking the same thing! I've been appalled at what some people list as their least-favorite attractions. They've listed some of our favorites! I mean, POTC??? TT??? IASW???? (Okay, I'm not too surprised by that one!)

Well, I guess there is something for everyone!
