if any one knows, you guys will know!:thumbsup2

I am looking for the least expensive place to buy DH pants for work -- dockers style -- don't have to be dockers brand.

What kind do you buy and where has the best prices?

TIA!

We have an outlet mall by us. I go to the Vanity Fair outlet and get Wrangler or Lee for $10-14. (However, I was also the one who posted about dh's wallet/pocket issues, but I honestly don't think it's due to the pants since we had the same problem with other brands.)

I read that -- we have the SAME issue........on all brands....with the old wallet and the new wallet........don't know what to do.......

Do you have a Kohls nearby? I can get dH actual Dockers as well as some other brands (Kohls brand - cheaper, but less durable, Chaps, more expensive).

I also luck out at JC Penney sometimes on their sale racks.

Also, Costco is pretty good too. DH gets a new pair of golf slacks there each spring.

We get alot of this style pant at Sams Club. They have the Savanne brand. They are wrinkle free and hold up really well. DH wears them to work pretty much everyday. I'm thinking they were about $14 a pair.

I bought my DS some docker style slacks at WalMart that washed and held up really well.

I get them for my dh from Land's End overstocks online. The pants are great and it is just about the one place I can find a 36 inch inseam for him at a reasonable price.

Ditto...Walmart, surprisingly good quality for the price. But, I recommend trying them on each time, because we have had a problem with the length being different from one pair to the next (even when labeled the same).

I usually buy Dockers at Kohls, but wait until there's a really good sale. I always check the racks, though, when I'm in Ross or TJ Maxx b/c a few months ago I bought both DH and I Dockers at Ross for around $10. Mine are black, and I'm wearing them today!

I buy most of DH's khakis from Old Navy (and usually from oldnavy.com, they normally don't carry his length in stores).

I've also had really good luck getting DH khaki-type work pants at Kohls. Their own brand (Croft and Barrow) have held up really well for him, and he likes the fit. I've always been able to get them on sale, or BOGO. I got him some wide wale cords for Christmas for a change - he loved them and wears them all the time (will have to put them away for the summer however). He's picky about pants because he's tall (6'4") and has to have a certain rise for the pants to fit well. Kohls brand seem to work well. The cost sure beats the Lands End pants we used to get him for work.

My son need docker style pants for HS and I can usually find them slightly used at the thrift store. I get a great deal and I can usually find them "like new".

That was my suggestion, too. Recently, our Kohl's had the Chaps brand marked down 70%. :cool1: I only found two pair in DH's size, but they only cost $11.00 each.

My husband works on machines- he needs to be wearing nice clothes but he gets them dirty so I don't want to spend too much on his clothes. I get a lot of his pants at our local Goodwill and Salvation Army stores. I have gotten some nice namebrand pants like Dockets and Eddie Bauer and Polo, and they are very cheap! On Tuesdays our local Goodwill has a quarter sale where everything with that color tag is a quarter. I love coming home with work clothes for my DH and having only spent a dollar!
