Ok--sell me on to Le cellier--what makes it your favorite and why?? What is all the rave about?? My DD6 will be in the party--do your kids enjoy this place?? Which do you prefer lunch or dinner??

I have seen the menus at allearsnet and am thinking about dinner. . . .

Thanks!!

I would also like to know, thinking of going in November and booking the candelight processional/le cellier package

Le Cellier I think is popular because it is one of those restaurants that has something to please most anyone, and I can't imagine being served a bad meal there.
It's not my FAVORITE. But it certainly is no slouch either! :goodvibes I don't know anyone who does not like Le Cellier.
I would go for dinner, just because a lunch would seem awfully heavy there. Unless you ate a full lunch and just a light or late dinner.

The service & food are outstanding. I have had there steaks several times and they are the best steaks I have ever had. The Pretzel Bread and Cheese Soup are fantastic too.

Le Cellier is our favorite restaurant at WDW...but we haven't been to them all yet!! Were still working on that! ;)

The appetizer scallops are WONDERFUL! :goodvibes We love the steak there, I have heard that they have good burgers and fries (if your DD likes that), but I have never had that there. They also say that the deserts are great, but I am always too full to try one! Maybe next time!

As far as your DD liking it, she will probably find something on the menu she will like, but it isn't a kid themed character meal, just a warm lovely restaurant. (I think they offer crayons and paper, but I'm not sure) You can order her a drink called "Northern Lights" and it comes with a lighted plastic ice cube that she can keep....that's always fun! :flower:

We've dined here on all 3 of our trips, once for lunch, twice for dinner. Definitely go for dinner, the menu is much better then if for no other reason than the mushroom filet. My kids have been happy with their choices here too, and though it is a more quiet restaurant they have been content with their crayons. Be sure and order your DD the chocolate moose for dessert, mine got a big kick out of that.

Dh and I were just at Le Cellier this past weekend and had a wonderful meal! The service and food were both excellent! We always look forward to dinning here. The restaurant is designed like a wine cellar and is a little dark inside. Tables are close together and it gets a little noisy at times, but we love it. The cheese soup and pretzel bread alone are worth a trip! PS times fill up fast!

Our meal here has been our best so far on Disney property. We do enjoy many of the other places, but for just great food and service it can't be beat!
