Is it ok to have Le Cellier booked at 2:45 and 8:55 the same day? That isn't considered double booking since it is a lunch and dinner, right?

I think double booking would be if you had LeCellier and another rest. booked for the same dining times.

On the other hand, if you have two meals booked the same day because you can't decide what time you want to eat, it's considerate to determine that as soon as possible and cancel the reservation you won't be using.

If you're actually planning to eat there twice the same day, not a problem

I agree - and just cancelled our 2:45 one.
