My husband would really like to eat at Le Cellier when we are at Epcot in June, but my daughter and I are picky eaters and don't like anything on the adult menu. I know this is a weird question, but would we be able to order mac and cheese or a grilled cheese from the kids menu?

Restaurants in Disney are typically very accommodating!
Is there anything on the adult menu that can be modified so that you like it? i.e. no sauces/topping, a different side dish, etc?

I always get a plain steak with mashed potatoes on the side there!

I agree with @EmilyGahr -- our experience has been much the same over the years with Disney Chefs doing what they can to accommodate. We have made adult menu items for kids and so I don't see why they might not create an adult version of kid's item. They will charge more for that, but that's to be understood. There's no guarantee, but whenever we have asked for accommodations like this they have always made it work. It would be different if something wasn't even on the menu, lol. Our cases were usually asking for a kid version of an adult steak, as my daughter never liked the kid menu items when she was younger. So no guarantees, but we have had positive experiences. If you're really concerned, you can always call in advance (or drop by if you're onsite) to inquire.
