Le Cellier new menu? OFFICIAL New Menu Discussion

Something else I found interesting about the conversation, was that he felt disney was testing the concept of 1 credit lunch and 2 credit dinner with le cellier and that possibly in the future we may see other restuarants going this way as well. Coral Reef because of the atmosphere, Kona cafe because Poly is the only Deluxe without a Signature and Tutto Italia because now with Via Napoli being open they have the opportunity to do this.
He believes that disney will continue to improve their signature dining and down the road we will continue to see more places open up!!!!

It doesn't sound like we can expect "more places (to) open up" but that we expect them to take away perfectly good 1TS restaurants and make them signature?

It seems like they want to make it harder and harder for a family to eat a regular table service meal.

Real shame what they did with menu. I would have thought they would still offer mid range meals for those who are looking to exp. this, But not go broke doing soo. We did cancel our seating there and changed to House of Blues. They really jacked up pricing really bad, No less for those who are paying out of pocket and not on dinning plan.

Any confirmation that the lunch menu will remain the same? I have heard speculation, but no confirmation.

/
I'm pretty sure I am canceling our dinner ADR. It's at 4 PM and those prices are outrageous for a 4 PM dinner.

Great, TFS! I can't believe the filet mignon is $41 at dinner and $27 at lunch!

Agreed! I've never been to LC and it's been on my want-to-try list, but not so sure now. I've been reading that the quality has gone down, so I'll definitely be following up to see if things have improved again after this new menu was released. I don't do DDP because it's way too much food for me, and there are some other TS that I'd rather try out first with that pricing.

Goodness gracious!!!
The prices are ridiculous... guess I'm cancelling our dinner this May.
And no more rissotto on the list of side menu? That's a deal breaker for me.
Oh well, DH would be happy to have 1 less TS meal for us.

We eat at LeCellier every year at least once. Haven't noticed the quality of the food going down at all. Still our favorite restaurant in Epcot. We usually do lunch ressies there anyway, so going signature won't effect us. Love their beer cheese soup and pretzel bread!

i always thought the place was overrated anyway to be honest

I agree, I always thought it was way over-rated as well. Now it looks like you can add way overpriced as well for dinner. I sure don't see a revamped menu justifying the MUCH higher cost. I'm assuming the powers to be believe the fans of Le'Cellier will just go with the flow and gladly pay much more for the same thing. Personally, I don't think they will. What a joke WDW.....

REALLY?!? are you kidding me? $42.00 for NY Strip and $9.00 for flippin SOUP. I gotta say that better be the best damned steak and soup for what they are charging. Thank goodness for the DDP. Gee, I wonder what they'll try and charge for a drink there.

Really Disney?

Looks like they are charging New York prices instead of Canada prices, LOL. A good steakhouse here will cost you a minimum of $45 for a steak.
