Le Cellier new menu? OFFICIAL New Menu Discussion

I'm really disapointed that the dinner menu is mostly the same as the lunch only with higher prices. I was expecting a big change for dinner to justify the higher price.

Cool, thanks for posting! :thumbsup2 Are you at WDW? Do you know if they will keep this menu for the upcoming months?

Not thrilled here either. I was glad I'd managed to get us a 7PM ADR with only 2 weeks before our trip, but now I'm thinking "blah". The steak my mom likes went up $5, but is exactly the same. We can get good $40 steaks where we live too, no need to go to Disney for that. My mom will decide, she's the dead cow lover, but for that price I would much rather go to Fulton's instead.

We eat at LeCellier every year at least once. Haven't noticed the quality of the food going down at all. Still our favorite restaurant in Epcot. We usually do lunch ressies there anyway, so going signature won't effect us. Love their beer cheese soup and pretzel bread!

I second that. I am so ecstatic to hear that they will still have all of my favorites for lunch...cheese soup with pretzel bread, fillet with mushroom risotto, and the chocolate "moose" dessert . This a must do for us, and one of our favorite meals in all of Disney. Like the PP, we only do lunch here so the signature status doesn't effect us either. So excited for our May trip :yay:

Le Cellier has always been a family favorite of ours, but these new prices will probably cause us to eat elsewhere.

Besides, since my wife has made the cheddar cheese soup at home, who needs Le Cellier! ;)

I was hoping for the Prix fix menu. I'm guessing that's gone now.
Sad that they took the prime rib away. And the mussles, too. (at least at dinner) :(

Assuming the quality has gone up, still not a terribly wide variety of steak for a Signature steakhouse----
Don't think I'd make a special trip--most likely it'll still appeal to those already in Epcot and looking for a good meal.

Hmmmmm....really need to decide here. LeCellier is our traditional last night menu. Glad to see the Filet is still there, but I really liked the cream cheese mashed potatoes. I had no trouble subbing them in 2009, but if they're removed all together...that would probably be difficult. I know DH will like the Rib-Eye, that's his favorite cut.

Debating about switching to Yachtsman, though....

Not sure if you have eaten at Yachtsman but it is very delicious and I don't feel as cramped as I do in Le Cellier. Highly recommend Yachtsman.

Anyone seen a revised kids menu for dinner yet? :flower3: We have an ADR here for DS's 8th bday, at his request, but I want to check out the new kids menu before I decide whether or not to keep it...

I don't see the S'mores dessert on the menu? Did they get rid of that? That was my favorite!

Kids menu looks the same but the update DATE was 02/2010

Cancelled my dinner ressie since my family liked the lunch menu over the dinner menu. Someday we will try the dinner at Le Cellier to try some of their new offerings but I would rather use my 2 TS credits at another signature like Yachtsman since we have never been. Can't wait to read a review of the new menu though!

That clinches it. We're going to try and get a lunch ADR and do counter service for dinner. I was originally going to go the other way, but I like the lunch menu and rather save the credit.

Comparing menu prices, the new 2 TS Le Celllier is pretty much now the same exact price as Yachtsman. I've eaten a both plenty of times, and I can tell you that Yachtsman was far superior in food and service to LC. I'll wait to see what the new LC reviews are like, but for my trip in October, I'm planning on dropping LC for Yachtsman. It's just a few minute walk from LC, and they have a great Ribeye and Porterhouse.

I've got a strange feeling that LC will become a 2 TS similar to the Brown Derby, which I don't feel is worthy of it's prices or 2 TS either.

Thank you both!! We have not been to Yachtsman yet. Today, after seeing the lunch menu as well, I am really leaning towards booking the Yachtsman instead. The things I loved about LeC: Pretzel bread (can get that at Biergarten I think, which we're trying this time), Filet (also avail. at Yachtsman), Cream Cheese Mashed potatoes (gone),Chocolate- Raspberry shake (I think this has been gone for awhile), and Chocolate Whiskey cake (gone for dinner). To me it's a no-brainer, but we'll see what DH says tonight. I think he might like that choice between a Rib-Eye and a Porterhouse!! The filet comes with mashed potatoes, so no subs needed there. I like the sounds of the Chocolate Trio dessert at Yachtsman better than the new LeCellier one. Salted Caramel is my fave and you can't beat a PB-choc. combo. The kids menu is fine for us as well, the kids would eat anything on there really.

I really wish California Grill had a ribeye for DH, I'd love to try that place!

Well I'm happy. People canceling their reservations means I was able to snag a dinner on the 8th. Not on DDP, and I'd truly like to see if the quality has been upped to signature level.

I am so very confused!!!!!!!! We need to hear reviews and see if it is worth it

Agreed. I'm surprised that nobody anywhere has posted anything yet about the new dinner. I'll probably post something in a week's time, but hopefully we'll hear sooner.

As a person who usually pays for meals OOP, it makes no sense for me to eat dinner here. I guess it will be lunch, if at all. IMHO, I have never felt the food was worth going crazy over. Actually, the one and only time I ate there was on the DDP...
