Le Cellier + kids question

Hi - We're planning to eat at Le Cellier in October. Earliest seating I could get was 6:40. We want to feed the kids earlier than that. If they just sit there and read, etc...while we eat do we get charged anything or does the charge only occur for character meals?

If they don't order, they won't be charged. No problem.

You could just order desserts for them, so at least they would have something in front of them.

Are you by any chance going to be in EPCOT for the day? We had the same problem we were only able to secure late ressies for dinner. We ended up eating fish and chops (YUMMY) for lunch and then we got some delicious desserts to split at FRANCE around 3:00 and by dinnertime (7:00) they were hungry. Norway has some nice desserts and so does France. There are funnel cakes and lots of other great "Snacking" food . This may not work for you and some people might not like the idea of DESSERTS before dinner but we thought ITS VACATION who cares!!!!
Le Cellier has breadsticks (sour dough, multi grain and pretzel) for bread before dinner and they have great children's desserts (Chocolate Moose made from chocolate mousse and they have smores). They also have cheese soup that DD liked with just breadsticks.
What ever you decide to do ENJOY it was a great restaurant(DH favorite!)

I would try calling back closer to your vacation date...even as soon as September. They usually end up opening more times...I don't know why they do this, but it has always worked in the past for me. I always take the later time that is available, but have always ended up securing an earlier time the closer it would get to our vacation. Plus, if you are not successful getting an earlier seating time, show up early. We've shown up as much as 45 minutes early for an ADR and have been seated within 5-10 minutes. Good luck!
