This morning I logged on to try to book ADRs for Garden Grill, and it was unavailable (again!). But, they did have an opening at the time that I wanted for dinner at Le Cellier so I went ahead and snatched it up.

We've never eaten there before, and haven't heard much about it. I know that it is expensive and 2 TS credits (I'm okay with that) but just wondering if it is worth it, and any positive or negative reviews you can share?

Thanks!

I had a great experience there last March. I've seen mixed reviews for every restaurant at Disney, so that that for what its worth.

We enjoyed our meal there last fall and we would go again.
You will get lots and lots of reviews both ways on Le Celler. If it interests you and meets your schedule, you should try it for yourself.

We love it. It's one of our must-do restaurants in Epcot. Had a great time/meal there in January & can't wait to go back in June!

Delicious food but very small portions and very expensive. Beautiful atmosphere.

I've enjoyed all the meals I've ever eaten there and its DH's "must go to at least twice" every trip we make. Its actually how I got him to agree to another trip...sent him a link to Le Cellier and it was a done deal. HAHA

The food is great. The menu prices are in line with what you'd expect at Disney. But it's widely regarded as a terrible use of credits.

In my experience, people tend to form their perceptions of some restaurants based on how they pay. If you're paying out of pocket, this is a great restaurant, but if you're using credits, people tend to rate it below average. The same goes for the Hollywood Brown Derby.

My oldest daughter loves it … we all enjoy it, but she LOVES it. Seems we do it every year… but, I'd like to try something different our next trip.

We have always had a great meal at Le Cellier, but I will say that the last time we ate there was in 2012.

I ate there last month and can honestly say it's the best steak I've ever had. I thought it was fantastic and couldn't believe the poor reviews I'd seen!

It's always on our list, if we can get a reservation. We pay OOP if that make a difference.

I loved it when I went....granted it was a few years ago, but still. My steak was really good, and the pretzel bread was delicious! I'm planning on a trip there when I go next year!

If you look at it as a restaurant inside a theme park, its pretty good, albeit expensive. If you look at it amongst the restaurants on WDW property, IMO it's the worst of the Signatures and not as good as some 1TS restaurants and not worth the money or TS credits (didn't think it was worth the money or TS credit when it wasn't a Signature either). If you remove it from WDW in general and compare it to all restaurants, its a tiny notch above like an Outback Steakhouse or other family friendly steakhouse chain. However, that is just my opinion.

In general, if you see a restaurant you want to try, don't even ask for opinions and just try it. No one knows you or those you are traveling with nor do any of us know your tastes. You never know when someone is going to talk you out of what could be an amazing meal to you (or talk you in to an awful meal, for that matter). Try it for yourself and make your own opinion. The worst thing that will happen is you don't like it and know not to go back in the future.

LC is superior to garden grill. Not the best steak on property, but above average compared to other park eateries.

If you're on the DDP, I'd keep looking for the Garden Grill (assuming you've never been there before). It's hard to compare food, and the dining experience is different.

LC is hit or miss for us. Last year we had awful food. Steak had no flavor, and the sides were over salted. This past Feb, the steaks came out great! Soup was still a bit over salted. Service is the same, hit or miss. We had a late lunch in Feb, and the place wasn't as crowded. That helped.

We had the cheese soup, poutine, scallop appetizer, and steak. The soup, poutine, and app were a little too salty, but the soup and poutine do have cheese. DH liked his steak. Pretzel bread was good. It wasn't so bad that I wouldn't go back again. However, there are so many places that we haven't been in Epcot, that it would be further down the list. You should go though. We don't regret it.

We love it. I am not a huge steak eater, but I love the filet. It is a must do for us.
