Layout Links or Lego diecut

I've been reading the list for over a week now and have found some links to view different layouts. If you have any disney layouts that you would like to share I'd love to see them!

Also, does anyone know where I might find or how I could make a Lego diecut? I've exhausted all the scrap stores in my area and there are none to be found.

A simple lego die cut is to cut a rectangle of prefered color, and then use a small circle punch, and punch 8 cirlcles out, then use popup dots to adhere the circles to the rectangle (2 rows of 4 circles). This should end up looking like a lego, you can make them in a variety of colors!

I just finished my Lego layout. I had read where if you use a filmstrip punch and then trim the piece down it would resemble a side view of a lego. Well I didnt have that punch so I used my razor blade knife and alot of patience and made my own little legos. I framed some pictures with these side view legos. I made other frames by stacking small rectangles on top of one another to look like a stack of legos. Then I made the letters in a block style and used my small hole punch to make the bumps on the letters (as if viewing from the top). I didnt use pop dots but it would have been a nice touch. I did use a little chalk to define the dots. I am very proud of myself and I think the layout came out well, sorry that I cant scan it and show you. Sorry my explaination was as clear as mud but perhaps it was helpful.

My DDIL made a 3D lego effect by drawing a rectangle and then another the same size overlapping to the right and down. Then connecting the corners with streight lines. This made her pattern. After cutting out her desired number and color she drew in the top to bottom front corner line and the lines across the top. She then added dots to the top. It was very simple to do and they looked great.

I really pas2's matching lettering idea.
