I only ask b/c I did my own laundry for the first time last weekend and I'm very proud of myself

-Yep, i do my laundry.
-my mom and dad taught me how to do my laundry in 6th grade. They gave me the choice of clean or dirty clothes, mainly because they didn't want to wash my clothes anymore.
-well, my clothes come out clean smelling so.. yea, i guess i am effective

Yay Ash for doing your own laundry!

I started doing my own laundry last year. My mom just got sick of it, so I started. Plus, I have to use the hypo-allergenic stuff because supposedly I'm allergic to the scent, so I have to wash my laundry by itself. I guess I'm effective; I haven't dyed my socks pink yet!

i wash the normal laundry some times but my mom thinks ill mess it up so she only lets me do a load or two on the weak end

Yup, I do all the laundry. I have since I was 7. I like to think that I'm effective.

I've done my own for a while. I don't know how I learned, I think I kind of figured it out on my own by watching my parents. And yes, I'm effective..

Doing laundry here (at college) is weird though. I have to sit with it because what happened to me was I put my clothes in the dryer and left. I came back 60 minutes later and my laundry was in the middle of the table in the laundry room soaking wet. Someone took my laundry out of the dryer and put theirs in and dried theirs using my dollar. That pissed me off, so now I sit with it at all times..

I do my own laundry when I NEED clothes. My mum usually does a few loads over the weekend, but not all of it gets done over the weekend, so I usually end up doing a load of jeans or something by Wednesday.
I started in grade six, but I rarely do the laundry.
I always do the laundry wrong. I've neve really done it right, but for some reason I've never ruined any clothing.

I've done my own for quite awhile. Since I was probably 11 or 12. Basically sixth grade. I'm pretty good. I don't mind doing laundry. I'll do a hundred loads of laundry before I wash the first dish.

#1 reason I don't usually do the laundry:
I have to get more clothes from other people, I can't do my own load, I have to have some of my clothes, my parents clothes and my brothers.
It just becomes a waste of my time to do the laundry.

nope! mommy does it! altho i do want to learn how to but she won't let me because somehow, she turns our white clothes into blue ti-dyed clothes and shes afraid i'll do something worse! lol. but i am just fine with mommy doing my laundry! its fun yelling at her when she forgot to wash something too!

(i wonder if she washed my volleyball shorts yet? i'll go check!) lol.

I've been doing the family's laundry by myself ever since I was 12, with help since I was 8, and folding since I was 3.

15 years of laundry and I still hate trying to match socks.

But other than that, I am very efficient (I assume that's what you meant).

I do it off and on. My mom'll do it if she's doing laundry anyways, but if it's not laundry day and I need something washed I'll do it myself. I don't even remember when I started, lol.
