The original schedule I read was through December 5, but I am sure they will be done before the filming of the Christmas Parade (12/1 - 12/3). Since we arrive on 11/26, I really hope they finish before Thanksgiving.

I am a little leary of any changes to the castle since the unfortunate birthday cake incident, however I think it looks beautiful in the new color!

I am not a purist by any means. I think it looks terrific! Much more solid and "real". Can wait to see it in three days!

I'm still not convinced. I hated the gold decorations this past year and missed the castle of my youth. What is going to be done with the brick/stone areas of the castle? Will they be different shades of beige? Also, it does look "pinkish" to me, too. It could be my computer, but I'll be there in three days to check it out for myself!!

As an aside, though, Safetymom, in your pix it looks like there was a show on the castle stage (with Donald in it). Could you tell me what show it was and did it replace Cinderellabration? My DD loves Donald and we don't get to see him often enough. Thanks for the info and for the castle pix.
