Later FDP times

I was hoping for later times to open and they did. I called for June 18th and was able to reserve a 6:10. I had 4:30 before. It's two days before the 30 day mark as May 19th was 30 days out from June 18th according to the ps calculator.

Thanks for the update, I have been trying for a later time myself, for the end of June. I wonder why MGM waits so long to open up the later dining times???

FDP is 90 days out but they only offer early times. I called 90 days out for H&V and could only get 4:30 for the lastest. Others have posted to try closer to 30 days. The ps have been sold out for June 18th for days...I'm nutso and call everyday.

Now at nearly 30 days out, there are later times which is GREAT!!

I called today for July 6th, and the latest I could get for Mama Melrose was 4 pm.

Why does everyone want a later time?

I called today to move my June 21st, 3:40 at Brown Derby reservation to a later time. I was able to get 4:30, which wasn't available a couple weeks ago. But I'll call again tomorrow or the next day and see if I can get a little later. I hate having dinner so early.

I think the earlier dinner might just work out better for us. Have brunch, then the 4 pm PS, then some MGM attractions, then leisurely stroll over to Fantasmic, then a light meal on the way out at a counter service. Hmmm...so many options!

For us it's a matter of having dinner at dinner time. We have a 4:00 for HBD right now. We'd be happy to just push it back to 5:00. If we can get done eating early we'll be able to hit the rides while everyone else is starting to eat dinner and line up for Fantasmic. We'll be there on a Friday (in July) and expect enough people to be at MK that hey won't open up a second Fantasmic.

We'll have an early lunch either way just to make sure we are good and hungry for dinner. We want to get our money's worth out of the deal. It's our only PS for the day.

I was told to call back at 30 days out by a CM last night. I'll try 35 and see what happens.
