The postage shouldn't be more than $ 4 going from previous pin purchases on Ebay lately. It's been a while since I ordered CDs, but I don't think it will cost more than 3 pins.

It's my third trip to DL, but the first time I am really planning on using Photopass. I only bought one photo last time because my friend had screwed up my photo with Mickey. But this time I am planning on getting more.

I will try to break it down as best I can, without making this super long... If you have more questions, let me know though

Photopass share info:

Before you go, you should have already sent a money order to me for your share of the CD, which all depends on how many people we have on board for our share...

1. We all visit the most magical place on Earth

2. Get a photopass card from the Disney professional photographers around the parks (I sometimes find myself getting a few of them, simply because I don't want to dig thru my backpack for the other one! )

3. Come home from vacation and upload your #'s off of your card(s) on a certain date (depending on when your last day was in DL) using the login ID and password that has already been set up for all of us to use

4. Edit your photos as needed

5. As soon as everyone has had some time to upload/edit, I will order the CD and it will be sent to me at my house

6. I will put all your pics on a CD (or DVD) and mail them off to you



The purpose of uploading your pics on a certain day will for sure help me in figuring out who is who and what goes to what

We'll be there Oct. 21-25. I am new at this, but from what I understand, the most important thing is to only upload your photopass card # under the group id that belongs to all of us - right? In other words, if you go on the site, and start you're own account to see your pics, and upload your photopass # you're out of luck. Is that correct?

Also, the leader pre-orders the CD, right?

Correct! I will do the ordering of the CD, and it is crucial to putting your card numbers into the account that I set up when I purchase the CD

Thank you for telling me the details. I will ask my dbf if he is interested and get back to you. We will be there the 21-25th. Do you know right now how much it is going to be per person? or do you need to wait until you get everyone together to figure out the cost?

Okay, I posted my first post about photopass sharing just now, without even checking today's posts so I completely missed reading this. Not enough coffee today, definitely!!

SO, we are going to be at Disneyland from the 14th-18th of October. Is that too early, or can I join the group? I'd love to try out photopass this time - it didn't work out on our last trip.

Hi Michelle,

You can definitely join the group! The only thing is that you would be the first person going, which means you will have to wait the longest. The last person that we have as a "for sure" comes back 11/7, so it will be at least that long... The last possible date I would allow uploads/editing would be 11/13 for WinksAtTink if she going to join us...

Your dates work perfectly with the groups! I am guessing it will be around $15 each person, unless our group gets a couple more people and then it would go down. Please let me know if you want in!

Yes, definitely count me in!! That is not a problem at all having to wait a little longer for the cd. You can email me at mrenee@web-ster dot com if you like, or let me know what I need to do next. Yay!!

I think I was off by a day in my previous post - October 14th is our travel day, so Oct 15th will be our first day in the parks getting pics on photopass - if that makes any difference to the plan.

So, do I have this process right - - I will send you a money order for the cd before our trip, we collect the photopass cards, and then when we get home I login with the group photopass id number from you, enter our card #'s, then I can edit/add borders, etc. Then, the cd's will mail out after everyone's trip is complete sometime after Nov 13th. That seems to make sense to me - just let me know if I've got a step wrong or something.

Thanks again - this is so cool! I'm excited to find all the photopass spots and get some great pictures with the whole family!
