Forgive me if there's a better board to have posted this on, but I didn't see any that directly related, so I'm going to put it here since it seems many of you guys are past travelers. We've had it set for awhile that we wanted to go for the first time with our kids in the fall of 2013; then today, I happened to look at the weather and see that it's still pretty warm down there at that time. To those who have been in late October---is it super warm, to the point where it's really bad walking around? we would have a 2 year old and a 5 year old, if that makes any difference.

Our next month pick would be January, thoughts on that month?

I guess I'm worried about this mostly because the last time I was at Disney (pre kids) was years ago and we made the mistake of going in July. Over 4th of July weekend. I said never, ever again...it was miserably hot and crowded! I know the crowds will be lower, but I don't want to be in a situation (especially with kids) of being in unbearable heat!

Edit: if it makes any difference, I live in PA, so I'm used to cold temps in the winter and some heat/humidity in the summer :)

I've done 11 January vacations and I'm going on my 4th October one. October has been warm but not super hot. January has been a mixed bag. Most of the weeks have had some great days and some cold days mixed in the same week. However after 2 trips with cold temps all week we decided to stop going in January.
