Were calling 1-2 times a day and have made about 60 calls so far trying to snag a cancellation at AS Movies.

Its not the most extravagant of restaurants, but were trying to not do any place twice (except for Flametree....... Well do that EVERY trip!!!). We did most of the bigger places last year (Le cellier, CA Grill, CHEF M, etc) Were after variety.

I can't believe you can't get a reservation over at Movies (with us!), since they said the Fantasia pool will be closed ALOT of Diser's have changed their reservations from ASMo to somewhere else. I know they said they had to go thru Guest services, not just the regular cm's have you tried that?

I beg to differ with sconnell. It IS personal. I am 'personally' doing the best I can and have a renewed respect for sconnell. I have already worked a couple of hours on this and have only managed to get 6 pages done.

I will work a bit more tonight and hopefully will have caught up by the end of the week and then you can all send in the many corrections that are bound to follow.

Your name, resort, dates of arrival and departure and then a line by line listing of your ADR's with dates included. It makes things so much easier.

One thing for sure, I am getting to know a whole lot more people on the Boards. Hope to meet at least some of you soon!!

I thought when I heard the pool was closed that we wouldnt have ANY troubles getting in. We called 3 times a day for the next 4 days. No reservations. I always mention that they might have to call guest services. Some are quick to let me know they know ways around that. One method is They try booking it WITHOUT the free DDP to see if it will take. It never does that way either.
GET THIS... Out of curiousity, I had them check the moderates. NO MODERATES EITHER!!! NO Animal Kingdom Lodge either!!! I know they allote (?) a certain amount of rooms for the package. Apparently the package is just booked solid.

I have a feeling its gonna be REALLLLLLY crowded that week..... I hope I'm wrong.

I'm actually fairly angry and/or worried that it'll be busy. I choose this time of year every year BECAUSE it's not busy and now that there's free dining (which we don't do) it's becoming more and more upsetting that I'm hearing about how so many people are going durring this time. Last year the lines were a little more then usual so I hope it doesn't change THAT much....but I'll be kind of upset if I feel like I'm there in the middle of the summer....

I know that I shouldn't care because I'M IN DISNEY WORLD!! but I hate Disney when it's busy so it won't be a very good time if I have to be shoulder to shoulder with people constantly (esp. since it costs me months and months of being broke just to go )

I know I'm being negative but I'd rather be pleasantly suprised when I get there (if it's not that busy) rather than dissapointed because it's packed.

We picked this time of year because our kids have a break from school for parish fair, and don't miss as much school. I also liked this time for the crowds. I too am hoping it won't be so crowded.

We've never been and I really don't want to be there during a crowded time!

In any event it should STILL be better than spring or summer.

Weve been so much, thAT we can always find fun. I enjoy just riding from one resort/park to another especially on the boats.

One person was upset because they are here without the free DDP..... Look at the bright side...THEY (myself included) are ALL on the free DDP... which means THEY will be spending LOTS of time EATING!!! YOU can be out riding rides. if I were to come here DURING free DDP, I would go just the opposite, and bring all my own food in from home (eat lite; sandwiches, tuna kits, fruits, etc) and spend more time COMMANDOING!!!

I booked this trips DDP for SPEED. (and for variety) No CA Grill, no Cellier, no meals with shows. My only long meal might be the castle or france, and we plan to eat and run. Were there for the rides!
