I was under the impreesion that these weeks were quiet in terms of crowd level - i have since read a post that said it was really busy with long queues. How busy is it really? Havent got free dining as we booked direct with virgin. How busy are the pm emh?

I've been in the last part of Sept and it is fairly busy. Just do your homework and you should be okay. Pick the parks according to the slowest days. IMHO, I would do the am EMH as the pm EMH can be very crowded. You can get more done in the 1 hour in the am than in the 3 hour in the pm. I know crazy, but true. We went during that same week last year during the free dining. We didn't find the lines that bad for the attractions. We tend to stay away from the parks with the morning EMH if we know we are not going to make it there in time for opening. If you plan it right and utilize Fast Pass you will be fine.

As for the restaurants, make sure you make ADRs because everywhere we went, walk-ins were being turned away!!
