Hi Alison! How are you doing? I was new to this game in "Take 8".
The one who wins is the person that has the last post when the thread is closed. I understand that "officially", a thread is closed or can be closed as soon as it hits page 250. The aim of this game seems to be to keep posting every now and then until page 250....and then it is "ON"!! Some people seem to stay up to all odd hours.....some have overnight shifts, some just stay up, I keep Australian hours (which ends up being odd by US time).

I missed winning Take 8 by 10 minutes and it went to page 278 or so!

Until then, we seem to post, chat, make friends and find out how things are.

• Ness seems to be better and is counting down to her trip.
• Ruthie and I have missed each other all week so I'm not sure how she is.
• Kim hasn't stopped yakking.

I suspect this thread may start seeing a bit more traffic soon....it's under 20 pages to go.

I'm not sure about just posting over and over again, but most of us tend to carry out conversations and such. I'm one of the crazy ones who works overnight, so I'm usually on from 7-7 my time and then random times when I'm not at work.

Thanks, I saw the "see you in the "games"" in your TR and came over to check it out. I have odd hours, plus I don't do much but sit at my computer! I'd love to meet more DIS friends over here.

I'm finally getting back to my TR from the F&W festival, those last two weeks knocked me out and then I had to actually take care of real life stuff! But hopefully I can finish up the last couple events I went to!

Nope. The winner is the last person who posted when the thread is closed. If you follow this thread, you definitely will be spending all your time doing this !

And we'll see who will be the winner in 20 pages time (give or take 10)
