...OMG! You poor dear......Your furbaby will have a new friend in doggie heaven - my Sis-in-law lost hers on Sunday....Dakota was 10 years old....:sad1:

Oh Kelli!!! I'm so sorry to hear that-I hope this isn't too much for Ash to handle with everything in the past weeks-Glad to hear that some passer-bys stayed with you to help you get thru this:guilty:

again I'm so sorry to hear this

Anyways-Happy Aniversary Kelli-always important to celebrate a happy event in the midst of sadness

-I hope today is over before you know it so you can rest and relax at home tonight-hang in there Kelli

Thank you guys. It was just a hard call to make last night. I tried to weigh all the options but she was 9 years old and having seizures. They were not sure of the trauma to her head and the internal stuff that was going on.

The young guys that ended up hanging around the ER with me was 19 and he was telling me things about his life. He said he cousin was just shot and killed in NY trying to help someone. The gun man shot and killed four people. He told me his cousin's name was Randal Norman and I looked the story up. Very sad.

My dog got hit by a car lastnight. The person who hit her drove off, but two other people stayed behind and even went to the Emergency clinic with me.
It was not a good situation and after much discussion with the doctors at the emergency vet clinic I had to put her to rest.

Ash was already in bed by the time I got home so I had to go thru it all again this morning with her.

I look like hell and feel like I have been run thru a wringer.

And today is my Anniversary. Not much in the mood for celebrating.

Oh, Kelli, I'm so sorry! :sad1:

This morning-we set out for the train station again and then the Police Station- they told us to go to another Police Dept and when we called them they they told us No you need to go to the MARTA Police-Transit Police station :headache:

So we were trying to get thru on the number they provided-and no one was answering-and just as they FINALLY answered-DH's Cell phone rings at the same time

It was the place He gets his Motorcycle fixed at and they said some guy had called asking if a "Carl" was a customer-and they relayed the message to us to call him-WOW it was soooo nice to get that call-DH was So Relieved :yay:

See, there are still a lot of good, decent human beings out there!

Kim. your furniture is beautiful! And your home is so beautifully decorated!

I wish I could decorate! I have no creativity or decorating sense! I don't even hang pictures well!

He even refused the cash reward we tryed to give him-so now I'm thinking of sending a nice noted and maybe a gift card included in it-He works at the Hospital right across from my Hospital-What a Nice Guy! :thumbsup2

A gift card, or at least a thank you note, would be very nice!

Yes, Kelli! I hope you still celebrated your anniversary somewhat. I know it's hard to celebrate during times of sadness but it's still important to remember your milestone!

Well I have to get going and get some sleep-it was a very busy morning in the ER and I have to work-out with a trainer today-So Hope Everyone has a Good Morning :wave2:

You are going to be so fit and trim with all this working out that you're doing! :thumbsup2 You should be very proud of yourself for sticking to it the way you are!

I had read that story as it was unfolding. Very sad. And it seems even sadder once you meet someone who is actually related to a victim. It puts more of a face with it, more of a reality to the whole thing.
