now it is my turn to truly remember it like it was yesterday Bicenten weekend and couldn't even get a TV to see the big ships in the NY harbor

well then I would just enjoy the time now because it will surely begin listen you have a wonderful weekend with your family/friends in case I don't talk to you later. Have to do some errands soon as in this little town everything will slam its doors for the holiday weekend and nothing will open again until Monday...that's one big thing I miss about NY....but I am going to AK Sunday so that will be nice

It's just gone 7.30 am and I'm heading out to have breakfast with friends. I'd have breakfast with you all; but I wouldn't be able to see (what) you eat...and I'm such a visual person, so it wouldn't be as much fun.

Have you noticed how much happier I am to wake up EARLY on a weekend day compared to a weekday day? I wonder why that is? The day shouldn't make a difference....anyone else the same?

Enjoy your breakfast! I usually don't like waking up early at all, but for me, "early" is usually anything before 2pm. Then again, I don't usually go to bed until between 7 and 8am. Yay night shift, right?
