So we've decided that for our DS17s graduation next year, we're going to do a week at WDW, and then a 4 day druise on DCL. We had talked about a 2 week WDW trip, but thought about the cruise after watching one of the Disney specials on the Travel Channel.

We don't think they can handle a week long cruise. He'll be 18 by that time, and won't be able to go into the teen areas anymore, but he's agreed to go, and we hope they'll have fun.

WooHoo! That sounds like a lot of fun!!

Wish we could do something like that for A.J.'s graduation this year!

Since our oldest seems determined to join the military after graduation, we think this is probably the last chance for us as a family while they are still teenagers.

Kevin that sounds like a great plan.

We keep trying to plan a cruise but something always comes up.

Morning, Kelli. :wave2:

We hope our plan works out. We are looking at the June 7th sail date, but we aren't sure yet when the last day of school is next year.

If they follow this years pattern, the last day would be May 29th. We get to WDW on Sunday, May 31st and checkout on June 7th for the cruise. Would work well for us.

They changed our calendar this year. School used to get out the second week of May. Now they go until the first week of June.

I don't like it at all.

FYI-I was selected for the Disney's Mickey Mom's Club and they provided a 25% off Photopass code if anyone needs it I would gladly share it since it expires at the end of Aug and where not planning to go until 2009??? I think

so just PM me and I'll give you the code!!!:thumbsup2

They also sent me one of the new "Year of a Million Dream" Pins with Tinker Bell on it-the kind you get with one to share :thumbsup2

SO cool-now to find someone at the Parks to give it too-which will have to be after the Year of a Million Dreams but heck it would still be magical ;)
