you know those times when you just want to get work done, but you keep getting interupted???

well I'm having one of those moments. I let the kids have some friends over because I figured they would all keep each other occupied... but these friends are the kind that like to "hang around" the mom. you the type... millions of questions, in and out, in and out!!

last weekend two of my dogs took off chasing deer...then came home, eventually , and one wouldn't put any weight on his front paw and was looking sad so, now my poor Tod is at the vet...DH had to leave him. He hates riding in the truck (they ride in the cab) and was shaking by the time they got to the vet...and now he has to stay since they need to x-ray his shoulder I hope he is okay...and I am also worried about how much work it will be to care for him...we have a big home project going on right now...at least I have three days off this weekend...but I keep remember how hard it was to care for my DBil when he had both arms in casts

Thanks Kathy and Kelli....I just called...he has tissue damage but doesn't need surgery so he can come home...I am going to call DH to pick him up today

me too! I hated to think about him getting surgery and the trama...plus the meds and wound cleaning after it is done. poor thing, I am sure he wants to be home and not locked up in a strange kennel without his family...hopefully DH already got him I am such a sap...I called the vet to see how he was doing since I was worried

Lyn~ so glad that Tod is ok! I know how hard it is when one of your furbabies is hurt.

This is my LAST day to get everything done! :scared1

I think I'm going to call my neighbor and see if G can go over there to play this morning so I can pull the suitcase out and pack, pack, pack!

It's the kids last day of school (the official last day is Monday b/c of all the snow days we had) so I'm going to be there all afternoon helping with that.

According to my trip report, tomorrow at this time we'll be an hour outside of TN.

You're not a "sap," you're a concerned parent. We always call and check on Shadow when we're away and he's staying at the "spa." (Luckily, he hasn't been sick or hurt to have to stay there - he's only stayed for boarding while we go away.) Heck, we've even sent him postcards.
