Good Morning!

Actually quite good. We put up the tree on Saturday, along with some of the other decorations. We only put the lights on the tree initially. We have a new puppy (well, that's misleading, since he's now a 70 pound Black Lab at 9 months old!) this Christmas, and we don't know how he will do with the tree yet.

Sunday saw us at a Spurs game in the afternoon (Go Spurs Go!).

Now we just have to get the rest of the decorations up. The DMIL is coming to sorta visit next week. We are all going to one of her granddaughters weddings on the 15th, and she'll be staying with us for 5 days. We have house to clean, and Christmas shopping, and decorating, and whew, it's going to be busy! It's all worth it though. :goodvibes

Sounds like a busy...but good....weekend!

So - are you looking forward to this visit from the MIL?? :confused3 :lmao: I hear all the MIL horror stories but my DH and my mother got along wonderfully! She actually lived with us for four years before she passed away in 1990.

House to yourself? Think of the possibilities! ;)

As crazy as it may sound :rotfl: I'm going to do some cleaning! I love having the house to myself, the stereo blaring and being able to clean with no interruptions! Yes, I know, I'm weird! :teeth:

Actually, we get along really well! :goodvibes

After we got married, we were living in Panama City, FL, and her mom only lived a few hours away in central Florida. We would regularly visit, and she would bake a cake almost every time she knew we were coming! :thumbsup2 Kinda made the DW a bit jealous?!?! :confused3 She told me her Mom didn't do that for her, only me! :lmao: What can I say.

Good Morning Everyone.

I will never forget the year I came home to see my Greyhound with red all over her mouth and her two front paw RED. I had some apple ornaments on the tree and I get she decided to eat one. And she was caught red pawed. :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

It's nice to hear that you get along so well. I thought my husband was just strange for getting along with his MIL. :rotfl:

(Now I know he's strange but just not for that reason! :lmao: )

I love cleaning when the house is empty. That way I don't have to clean in circles. I clean and area than DH or Ash come thru and I have to go back and clean it again. You see the pattern..... :headache:

My DH gets along with my Mom. She is at my house every day Monday - Friday and sometimes we still do things with her on the weekends.

He appreciates the things that she does for us so that helps.

My DW says that about me a lot, too! :cool1: and I embrace the strangeness.

Imagine the "pattern" I have around here with DH and THREE boys!

That makes it so much easier on kids when there aren't any in-law tensions.

There are just so many of those scary MIL jokes! :lmao: One of my friends has one of those horror story MILs.

I think it's time for me to turn off the computer and get to my house cleaning! I have already gotten three loads of laundry done but I've got to get them put away. And I've gotten our bills paid and some little paperwork stuff taken care of. Now the tv goes off, the stereo goes on and I'm going to be cleaning!!! :cool1:

I know it won't be fun cleaning, but have a great day, Kathy!
