Good evening!

What a day! Remember me bragging that I finally had the schedule done. Well, guess what came home with me! I've got to do some revisions before I go back to work....tonight! I was supposed to get off work at 3 but that didn't work out. I finally walked out at 4:15 with just enough time to make it Matthew's basketball game (which they lost ). So I had to choose between going back to work tonight or going first thing in the morning. Since I'm off tomorrow I decided to go in tonight and finish stuff up. That way I can stay in my jammies in the morning!

Yep...finally. The tree looks really nice and the whole house is decorated.

Not much new here-I have lots to do before Our trip to WI in 2 weeks-so I'll check in later-Talk to someone then I hope

7:10 a.m. and I have the house to myself!!!

A friend just picked up A.J. and Andrew and took them to school for me, the bus just picked Matthew up and DH left about 1/2 an hour ago for an early meeting at work!

I didn't realize you were making a trip up there? When are you going. For how long. Details, details, Kim. Did I miss this before??

Didn't I mention that-Sorry-Yep, were heading up there for the Holiday

-But can't stay for Christmas because of Our work schedules-That didn't go over well with my Mom-she got all mad that we wouldn't be there for the actual Holiday!!!! Whatever!!!

We decided to fly since it's only for 5 days so I can't wait a 2hr flight vs. a 14hr car ride!!!

We're flying up there 2 weeks from today!!! Only thing is... I'm not looking forward to being in the COLD!!!!! They're Highs are Our Lows!!!!

I swore I would never fly again (and haven't since 1983) but after that long trip back from FL after my cruise I may have to rethink the possibility of flying!

Good Morning!

Actually quite good. We put up the tree on Saturday, along with some of the other decorations. We only put the lights on the tree initially. We have a new puppy (well, that's misleading, since he's now a 70 pound Black Lab at 9 months old!) this Christmas, and we don't know how he will do with the tree yet.

Sunday saw us at a Spurs game in the afternoon (Go Spurs Go!).

Now we just have to get the rest of the decorations up. The DMIL is coming to sorta visit next week. We are all going to one of her granddaughters weddings on the 15th, and she'll be staying with us for 5 days. We have house to clean, and Christmas shopping, and decorating, and whew, it's going to be busy! It's all worth it though.

We added the balls last night, so we'll see how he does with those before we add more. So far, so good!

We have a cat that liked to lay under the tree last year. This year, he decided that he wanted to start climbing lessons. So we have had to make him stay in with his "dad" (our youngest son).

I will never forget the year I came home to see my Greyhound with red all over her mouth and her two front paw RED. I had some apple ornaments on the tree and I get she decided to eat one. And she was caught red pawed.

Have a great trip Kim. You Mom should be happy that you were able to come home at all during the holidays.
