Thanks for explaining Kayla - as gently as possible without using "that" word!

Pam - DH and I had to petition the court for guardianship of A.J., our son with Down Syndrome, since he is turning 18 soon. The first phase was that he had to be declared incompetent. I've had a very hard time dealing with that word. But Kelli reminded me that it is just a word, that had to be used for A.J.'s best interest just today. So that is how I kept myself going today...One word, one day, then it's over.

DH and I were given guardianship. So, after having this whole ordeal hanging over us I now know that our son will get to continue to be our son! I am so glad that it is all behind us now!

This day is done and now you can put it behind you. You can now focus on taking care of your beautiful children and make sure that they are taken care of.

DH is home from seeing DGF

my cousin and uncle were there too
they tried to wake him up to eat and he wouldn't wake up

DH told them to leave him alone
he was at peace sleeping and what good would waking him do??

It was put on by a Detective in the Police Department who is part of a Nationwide Task force. Myspace is one of the biggest places that kids are giving out too much information. I couldn't believe the pages he was showing up where kids gave their addresses, real names and phone numbers, cell numbers, school names and class schedules.

They think that only their friends are reading the pages when anyone in the world can read them.

That's for sure-we always have in in the kitchen or living room-easy to keep tabs on them-and not always what they like-since we can watch them from where we sit-too bad-too sad-you get to use the computer from there or nowhere-your choice
