No bbq for us yesterday. But we did go to my BIL's for fireworks. He brought $9,000 worth and we left when he was about half way thru. It was almost 10 o'clock and DH and I were just plain beat.

Is it me or has anyone else noticed that I time is off on the posts???

My clock (and the official time clock here in Lincoln) says 8:32 but the post is about 20 minutes or so off.

I can't even imagine having that kind of fun money to play around with.. but if I did, it sure wouldn't have been spent on fireworks.......... Can anyone say MORE DVC POINTS for me!!

It makes him look good. At least in his eyes.

I personal could find better things to do with my money. But you see all the neighbors and his friends know that he does this every year so he has to try and top himself to impress them.

wow...poor guy!

I can understand getting into that situation, but how far will he go? 10K next year, then 11, then 12, etc, etc. I can't even imagine spending that kind of money on something that will disappear in an hour, and I can watch on tv for free.

Hey, does that logic apply to my Disney addiction???
